Many thanks for replies.Tub is buff so prob 30mm. Bearings not gone in m/c. Nails caught between heater and outer tub and heat melted hole into outer tub.

This one is back. Husband describes smell as like burnt out clutch type of
smell. Going back Monday. Any ideas.

Thank you for reply.replaced pr sw and checked module connections.fault still remains.checked tube.did reset procedure on pr sw. m/c in shed with seperate fridge and freezer.all being fed by ext lead and variety of multiplug adapters.Hot plugs allround.advised that this was a fire hazard and that they needed a mini consumer unit wired into shed.
