    these block up very easily ie pr chamber,sump hose,heater recess in bottom of tub(poss reason for noise).not bad to work on though.front off for heater.spares(not too expensive) at kal.ie

    sorted,jammed wash motor and looks like someone had a go before i got there and broke plastic fixing lug off module,hence diffuser not transferring light to display.(god bless superglue)

    had to stick with fbd for e540.applied to a few places and they never got back to me.its a ridiculous ammount of money to pay considering what Seamy is paying north of the border.you have to have it though.let me know how you get on.paul

    tenants are good for business.had one recently where previous tenant took motor for beko wm with him.i went out to a no drum action fault only to find motor gone.

    thanks Seamy.had a look this morning.bolt went through metal hinge and threaded into plastic bearing pads.top and bottom pads worn so will have to order new ones.hopefully they can be bought without forking out for new hinges.thanks again

    thanks Seamy.i will ring them direct in morning.i know the broker i use got a quote from them in and around the e560 mark.i know brokers take a cut but im pretty sure its not that much.the excesses just seem too high as well. i think you are getting a far better deal just by living that side of the border.my cover is for 2.6 million as well.paul

    had one last week.if you watch display it dims quite badly every time any load comes on it. board in ukwg store.have read other posts and believe it down to blue capacitor on board.paul

    thank you for reply.motor tested out ok and does not look like m/c has had a hard life,very little carbon dust on motor.it just did not have the ability to turn drum on wash cycle.paul
