Thanks for reply Seamy. Sorry should have put mod no Dl1243aps. Strangely I was drawn to the moulded plug and cut it off and replaced it, but no change. Machine had originally had the usual vent hose coming off and flooding the base. Been dry for over a fortnight now though and still tripping when switched off.

Thank you Kentish. I tried and tested door lock. I had just about give up on it when I had a look at selector switch. I found that by putting sideward pressure on selector I managed to change program a couple if times and machine ran ok. Then it played up again.
