I think they stopped putting them in boxes when the laminated type came out around 1991 I think. Thats when they started putting the tabs on them , before that it was a little laccy band on each brush.

What a pile of junk this oven is. Customer has been told the part carries a 3 month wrranty as the build quality is so poor. Told him next time there’s a fault just bin it.
The push on connectors are the flimsiest I’ve ever seen, swtches and selector held on to front panel with push over tags 😥 .TC

Judging by the search I’ve just done I don’t hold out much hope 😥 .TC

The bigger agencies are much easier to deal with – same rules means that they pay and chase payment from their landlords. So much simpler.
😥 Unless thy’re entwistle Green and a couple more round here. Had to chase payment on numerous occasions with the excuse that we’ll have to wait till next months rent comes through :rolls:

I DON’T BELEIVE IT 👿
Another landlord (this time the tennant paid the £38.50).
He booked the call as lower oven won’t work didn’t mention he was a landlord at this point.
These days I’ve given up on diagnosing the clock over the phone due to people taking the p**s.
Got to the call, yup clock needed reset. The oven was noisy, back panel was flapping around in the breeze, and the bulb was blown.
Reattach panel best I could with larger self tapper (the other side enamel gone too far to fit anything (Zanussi)). Change bulb, test the noise and check that the oven temp (stat) was ok. Then show her how to reset the clock if it happens again.
Charged the least I normally do as they were a couple of students.Landlord has just been on threatening me with Court :rolls: as I’ve overcharged him, and he could have reset the clock. ‘you just saw a young girl and decided to rip her off’ The best one was you said you charged £15. For two minutes work. If I can test a stat in two minutes I must have been working on a f***ing microwave!!!!
I love it when you tell them your minimum charge if the machines BER and they take that as what you charge for any repair.
He’s going to put it in writing to me :con: . Its seven years since the last person accused me of ripping them off so I’m not exactly waiting for the flood gates to open.TC

🙁
Another one of these. This one has the 5th (of 5) led flashing at the end of the cycle. Possibly a heater fault as they feel its not been drying properly recently…….left them to get the dishwasher out (loverly tiles Missus…..right up to the feet as well 👿 ). Any idea what the fifth led flashing comes up as?
😕 A strange little thing occurred to me looking at these disheashers. The first one was made in China the second one was made in Italy.TC

ParticipantRe: aggressive customers
Sorry Bagman, but in todays climate its better to make excuses and leave when one of these idiots starts giving it. Don’t forget that one of these muppets will see your professionalism as a threat in their own space. Injured (or worse) engineers don’t get paid enough to take that. Been there…….advised, by the office, to leave tool box and walk away.
