Just got my statement from Barclays.

Bloody hell you weren’t kidding.
£288.62 charges this three month period.
There’s no charge for the p*ss poor service and inability to speak to anyone at your branch, or concerned with your account, I see.
Maybe that will be on next months.

Yup, scrapped a few modules/ jobs this year over unable to repair stufff rom QER and they’ve mostly been WMA and hoover boards.
Had a dust up with EMW a few years ago regarding carriage payments on items that were faulty from them. It was only a glitch but they refused to have me as a customer for a while as I stood my ground.
Re’lectronics (HJM was much easier guys 😉 ) have never let me down when I’ve used them although they were a bit in the dark ages regarding price lists etc. My current one is from 1999 8O.

Funnily enough!!!
Got a customer we sold (when the shop was open) a Panasonic bagless about four months ago.
Rings me up Saturday saying that it got completely blocked up, she’s cleared out all the gunge 😯 from the hoses and now it works on and off.
I’ve told her I’ll have a look at it FOC and see what the problem is, explaining to her that the guarantee is with Panasonic, but if the motor is damaged due to blockages, it may invalidate the guarantee if the book has not been followed.
She said ‘I’ll bring it round and we’ll take it from there’
Where do we stand on the guarantee we sell with an appliance?
