Thermostats on hotpoint plus if the stat is open circuit take it off and bang it down to the floor it will then spring back ping refitt best on washer dryers hotpoint plus also if u get a leaky filter on washing machines after unscrewing to clean undo it and take it out smear the rubber ring withgrease or vasaline put it back no leaks dal

easy job …….undo 2 screws that hold the timer/facia panel on [screws at back] then spring out the 2 metal clips and this will alow you to remove the shell [pull the connecter plugs apart] then you can get at the motor 2 clips with screws [1 top 1bottom]then motor comes out change coupling then fit back in reverse waldebeck services on 0208 569 0606 for spares regards dal
