    Re: Hoover DQ150 Washer drier

There is no drier timer, it’s a part of the main timer, silly two shaft (matron !) affair, part number 91201741

The model is incorrect John but have you checked/changed the NTC ?

Notorious for this sort of fault 😉

Nothing on the DVD for this model Tony 🙁

Is this the hinge type with a plastic “foot” that slides in to the door that connects to a spring loaded arm coming from the cooker chassis ?

In the “known error codes” thread at the top of this forums, it’s under Smeg 😉

If the error code isn’t listed, check the dispensor solenoid as these cause odd error codes to appear.

It’s not available from AEG now, it’s replaced by the 1700W (I think) oval one but if you scan through Masterpart’s website under the catalogue, it’s in there somewhere as a pattern replacement.

Re: Whirlpool G2P DWS COLD ONLY?

If you go to forum search here:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ile=search

Select the dishwasher support forum from the drop down and search for “NTC” (without the quotes), the pick out all the Whirlpool and Diplomat threads, you’ll find the answers there 😀

The most likely part is an NTC failure which is here:

Power off if checking yourself please or check the repairs@ link below if you need an engineer.

    Re: Blomberg 1301 ABB bearings

6305 and 6306 bearings are not a problem, the seal will be as described in my first reply.

Could you send an email please to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk with the model number and the two bearing sizes above and I will sort from there for you 😀

I’ve edited your reply as you really don’t want to leave your mobile number in a public forum that gets + 20k hits a day 😉

    Re: Electrolux oven not working

Possibly the selector switch has been damaged by the base element blowing (assuming it has) or the selector switch may have been the problem all along.

Normally these can be visually checked for burnt contacts (with the power off ).

    Re: AEG 50750 flood protection

The only mention is how to cancel a cycle, this is done by holding the relevent programme selection key in for + 3 seconds but that is probably described in the user manual.

If that doesn’t work, the base is probaly flooded with water. Try tilting the dishwasher and see if any water runs out (towels handy ;))

Power off if going further or check the repairs@ link below for an engineer if you get stuck 🙂
