    Re: Belling Fan motor

Any of the universal one’s will fit that by the looks of it. The only problem is the shaft length inside the oven cavity.

One of either MTR7708 or MTR8001 from Connect wil do.

It depends on what they are chrging for postage but £40 is a bit high.

It should be £35 inc VAT and delivery, if you want one ordered and sent, email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please and I’ll arrange for you.

Sure you got the right door lock ?

It should be part number 1249675123

There’s a couple of these that will physically fit each other but electrically are different.

If you check iadom’s website Mandells, he was a senior Merloni (GDA/Indesit Company) engineer and would have had the advantage of the technical information and equipment to enable that sort of testing to be carried out.

Such information is actively restricted from view to the Independant engineer and one issue Martin has been dealing with.

That’s no critism iadom by the way, if you have that info to hand, great, and the fact that you are prepared to share some of that knowledge here is most welcome 😀

    Yep, only Euro models listed.

Have a look at the African LG website (contacts page), they may be able to advise:

If you haven’t already tried of course 😉

Model number please ?? Is it frost free ?

The orange switch is for additional defrost “help” when the unit is in a cold envoroment normally on many fridge/freezers.

Annz3, drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk I have the springs in question.

To be honest, they aren’t in the shop as we rarely get asked for them anymore, it’s a very old model now, none the less, a good model.

They’re prone to problems full stop 😉

Phone Baumatic 01189 336922 and ask them who the manufacturer is, they hate it 😆

Sorry, i meant to reply yesterday, no luck I’m afraid.

Try Caremark on 0870 7502435 as they were or still are the main UK agent for Homark.

Try QER http://www.qer.biz or EMW electronics http://www.emwelec.co.uk they both repair PCB’s.
