Approximate age would be useful as well please Cyril, and perhaps a photo of the oven itself.

I just looked at the wiring diagram on procorner and there I think the part number I posted must be it in all honesty.

There’s nowt else there apart from the selector switch that switches the fan on and off.

Re: Hotpoint Aquarius Extra WMA37 – Leak from drum

    Hi Rob.

Without doubt your drum bearing seal has failed causing the leak and the bearing noise you can hear.

Not a DIY job unless your confident to tackle it, it’s a long and not a very nice task to be honest, often taking up to 2/3 hours if you haven’t done one before.

As a guide and depending on what other damage may have occured you could be looking between £120-£175 to repair.

I’ve checked on Procorner for more info as the parts are more model specific than on TDS for some reason.

I found an unlisted part which is described as a thermal cut out kit, part number 8996619267611.

It sounds like that may be the beast you need 😀

Yep, have you moved the machine recently ? The hoses connected the wrong way round will cause this as the condenser needs cold water to work correctly 😉

Other than that, it could be the fill valve, condenser blockage, pump/filter blockage.

Please pull the plug before attempting any repair yourself :plug:

Reg, the directories contain companies and individuals who repair appliances, which is what Kevin assumed you wanted.

    Here’s one in your area:

    Stellison Ltd
    14 Parsons Road
    Manor Trading Estate
    SOUTH BENFLEET
    Essex
    SS7 4PY
    01268 756276

Advice wise, it sounds like the fan element has failed to me, which won’t be an expensive repair 😀

The only two I can find are T850 and T950, which refers to spin speed I guess, both of those are Fagor and spares supplied via Anglo Iberian (AIS) on 01245 320992.

Let’s hope this model is a Fagor as well.

    Pinky.

You have mail which will help you identify the parts/part numbers.

I don’t think Arien supply spares do they Bob ? I may be wrong :con:

If they can’t help try ordering directly from Caremark who are the main spares distributors on 0870 7502435.

    Re: Homark Oven Door Hinges

Cyril, have you pulled the oven forward out of the housing ?

The model number is on top of them sometimes, it should be something like 01-200??? or similar.

A photo probably won’t be enough as many oven hinges look very much the same.

    Re: Gas Tumble drier vent

It’s probably due to the makers of the hose not wanting to be liable for any problems that may occur, as in blockages etc as this can cause serious issues with safety.

You can still obtain the original vent hose from Electrolux who now own the Parkinson Cowan brand name, it’s part number 345993000 at £29 inc VAT and delivery. It also only fits the gas models.

I can order for you if required, drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

    Re: Indesit WE65 error message

F01 and F10 are completely unrelated, one is a motor control problem, the other a water level problem.

Have you checked the filter etc for blockages ? These machines will throw up no end of errors if they don’t drain quickly enough.

There is no list available to the the public I’m afraid, even if there was it won’t tell you what is wrong as the codes are merely an engineers guide and are never conclusive.

If you are planning on having a look inside, please ensure the plug is pulled first :plug:

It’s pretty certain the fan element will have failed.

Not a major repair, the element is around £20, if you need help finding a repairer, pop your postcode up as someone here should be able to oblige 😀

The timer (control unit) is £140.50 inc VAT 😮

There may well be a reason for the blown tracks yes, the door lock can cause this I believe.

If you do a forum search for “blomberg” there was at least another thread about a similar problem a while back which you may find useful.
