    152 46 24-03/6 is £59.94 inc VAT plus about £4 postage.

If you pop your postcode up Will, I can probably help with recommending someone who covers you area.

    It’s a Bosch 😉

Has the apparent leak caused a short on the motor and blown the pcb or the triac/transistor that’s used to switch the motor maybe ?

First of all who are your suppliers Furhan ?

If they aren’t offering you any back up when this happens then I would look for another one.

As Alex says, in most cases they will need an uplift/write off report from an engineer to enable them to get credit from Merloni thus enabling them to give you credit for it.

Tell the engineer when he/she arrives that it was a 28 day customer exchange and you want an uplift note, if they refuse, let us know 😉

It does sound like the matrix (IWMS) associated problem.

It’s not a DIY job really, we’ll also need the product number code from the rating plate to identify which one you’ll need.

That’s will be Penguin then (Chris Chantrell)

    Quality Washer Repairs,
    10 Church Court,

    W. Yorks LS19 7SA.
    Tel: 0113 2500851 (Appointments)
    07767 822624 (Engineer)
    Email: julia.chantrell@ntlworld.com

If you let him know it’s made by Brandt, he will be familiar with the model as it’s the same as some of the newer Hotpoint’s who use the same dishwasher.

Re: HOTPOINT dishwasher – BF50 B/W semi int – replace or fix

It is on there Martin, just under the GDA brand name rather than Hotpoint for some reason 😕

It’s actually made by Brandt and rebadged.

The leak could be from a number of places really, it would be advisable to call an engineer to check as it may not be a huge problem. Replacement integrated dishwashers don’t come cheap and then you have the added hassles of installing the new one.

If you need help, check in the directories or let us know your postcode.

Yep, it’s about what works best for you 😀

Sorry I forgot Smeg Service (Servevast), no issues from me, apart from the price of some of the parts 😯
    The work is fine and the support is superb, rates are OK also, no issues really apart from a constant bombardment of reqests for job updates, many duplicated, I only respond to one of them with the requested information :;

If I get hung drawn and quartered because of this post I hope I get some back-up 😀
