Lamps 3+4 indicate a temperature control problem but why the over-foaming in the first place ?
Did someone put the wrong type of detergent in the machine ?

If you called an engineer ( who presumably charged for the diagnosis) why didn’t you ask him/her to return and fit the PCB thus removing this problem ? 😀

It wouldn’t matter if it was normally, it should be an AC motor so will rotate in the same direction whichever way it was wired, call the said engineer back and ask him/her to take another look 😉

Turning a large diameter drum by hand that in turn turns a tiny motor pulley with a fan on the end via a belt would see some resistance 😉

Is this a 60cm or 45cm dishwasher ?
The 60cm models require a complete upper basket replacement (with modified wheels) but you can still get the adjusters for the 45cm models 🙂

Re: INDESIT WE14 ERROR F-01 & DRUM CATCHING
F01 indicates a PCB failure but the noise you describe would indicate a faulty motor to be honest (raised segment on the armature).
Both are not a cheap repair I’m afraid but it may be worth asking an engineer to have a look, check the repairs@ link below 🙂
