Re: indeset we16 fault code F05

F05 certainly refers to a pressure switch related problem, which is the part you have mentioned gaz.

I don’t have the tech info here at home to help you with the part information unfortunately, someone else may, if not I’ll get back to you on Monday. 😀

Re: Welcome To The War Room

Sorry if my sentiments seemed a little personal, it wasn’t meant that way at all.

I was merely pointing out the input (or lack of) from some of TWR members.

I have no issue with Mark or Neil at all on a personal level and I would consider both of them as friends, but as Alex rightly says new blood is required from those willing to put in. Limited numbers are the key I think.

    Re: WE16 fault code F-08

It’s to do with the water heating circuit.

It could be a simple resoldering job or at worse the control pcb itself. So, anywhere between £50 and £150 to repair to give you some idea.

    Hope this helps.

Before Whirlpool introduced the Astro system when we were service “partners”, they would preebook the calls and quite often they would have avsput on the job sheet.

For months not wanting to seem stupid I didn’t bother asking what it was- avoid school pick up times-obvious when you know 😉

    Re: Domain names

If anyone has a registered web domain and want to check for the other one’s associated with it, go to http://www.ukreg.com and use the domain checker on the right to see if anyone has registered the one you want, if you have already registered your own, no-one else can take it without your consent unless you have let the registration lapse.

If you have for instance “irepairwashers.co.uk” and want “irepairwashers.com” in case someone else gets it you can register pretty much all of them there for a fiver(ish) a go per domain for two years.

The .com one’s are more expensive generally.

I think all of that’s correct, Ken will put me right if it’s inaccurate.

    Re: Indesit WD12

2 flashes means there is a motor related problem, but as you say on the tumble-dry setting the drum rotates this can’t be the case.

To be honest, these Indesit machines and their fault codes/constantly rotating control knobs are virtually impossible to diagnose without actually checking all of the components to eliminate them one by one.

I would ask an engineer to check it for you, take a look in the directories on the main menu or pop your postcode up and someone should be able to assist further.

Re: Aga masterchef – range cooker

To throw a little more light on the subject, Rangemaster (the brand name) is now wholly owned by the Aga company.

    http://www.rangemaster.co.uk/

Rangemaster (the name) was born of the old Flavel-Liesure company, they called all their cookers of a certain style this.

Flavel, or the brand name at least is now owned by Beko, a Turkish budget brand manufacturer.

So, I would imagine that an Aga Masterchef is pretty much the same thing as a Rangemaster given that they are both made by the same company.
