    Re: ADP8342 – Flashing lights

It it’s intermittent it could well be an air lock.

It could also be an installation problem, but I would have thought the MFI engineer would have rectified these.

I would phone MFI again and explain the situation, they are generally most amicable.

I need to email Alan, I’ll ask him for the part number while I’m at it.

Yeah, I saw that recently on a flyer from DAD.

Ludicrous if you ask me, but there we have it, the first washer to break the sound barrier πŸ˜€

So, no-one wants to upset Mark by suggesting him for removal then ?

Neil or Mark have never had much input here to be honest, and rarely read it.

    There’s my vote πŸ˜‰

    Sorry Simon, I should’ve said πŸ™‚

Well, when I bought them in 2001 they would’ve cost about a fiver a hinge, so if you want to send me Β£12, that’ll cover it with postage.

If you want them, I’m here:

    Portway on 01264 334596

There are more but I can’t think of them right now πŸ˜•

    Yep, I have two here.

Yes, the sockets are the same for both doors.

    Re: Diplomat ADP 8242

You can try the reset procedure, if it doesn’t work, let us know your postcode or check the directories section as you’ll need an engineer.

With the door open, turn the appliance on and, within three seconds, push 4 times on the program selection button – The test program has been selected if the SOAK and STRONG pilot lamps are flashing.

Once the two outer LED’s are illuminated, as above, push on the program selection button once and check that the pilot lamp of the SOAK indicator is off. To complete the procedure, do not close the door, simply switch the appliance off. After a short delay, 10 to 15 seconds, switch the appliance back on and test on a SOAK program.

Yep, P45 has been mooted before for inclusion here and I would like to see chris included in twr activities.

And, yes Alex I agree with your sentiments as well.

One thing we have to remember, again, not meaning to insult anyone, now you have seen the real names above, you may also know their nicknames, it’s too easy to reply to someone using their real name in the “open” forums, I know, I’ve done it πŸ˜‰

Only applies to those who don’t sign their posts using real names of course πŸ˜€

    Just a thought.

    Re: Anglo Iberian

That’s the rate we get here appboy.

Products are mainly low volume obscure brands of cookers and hoods, quite a few double visits unless you pre-diagnose the calls. Spares are quick as long as Anglo have them in stock, if not, expect a wait of a week or three.

Payments appear to be back on track after a few issues earlier in the year.

I did, the list stops at WA2230 πŸ™

If you phone Comet spares on 01132 310523 and get the part number, let me know and I’ll see what comes up.

Penguin may know what this model is, although the memory may be jaded (banging head on iceburgs etc ;))
