Well, as the whole door is £72.00 ex VAT and carriage it probably isn’t worth replacing at that cost 😉

Keep an eye on the temperatre but if it isn’t too bad I would ignore it to be honest 🙂

Here is the wording as per MFI’s tech info:

The manufacturer has made a modification to the door lock assembly on this model which affects the way the door lock is fitted to the appliance.

If the appliance was purchased before 23/04/2003 you will need to order the following parts:

Door lock 697690139
Door lock microswitch 814490321
Inner door 692050468
Control panel 763735661

Personally I’d just order the control panel and see what it’s like on arrival 😉

It’s a Haier but no-one seems to have the fault codes for them.

Previous posts would suggest it’s a flooded base though, probably caused by 3/4 in 1 tablets 😉

There’s two types Mark, purchase date before and after April 2003.

The earlier version requires a complete inner door modification 😯

If the model is correct it could be either the baffle in the fridge or the control PCB, there’s little else that can be replaced on these models (sensors all foamed in and not removeable :()

Possibly the thermistor is at fault, it needs checking for resistance change during temperature rise and fall 🙂

The timer is motor driven yes, if that is the problem it would require a complete timer unit, not too bad at about £40 with VAT etc though 🙂
