Penguin, is there a model number on it anywhere ? It may ring a bell if I knew that.

ParticipantRe: Spare parts website recommendations please
Hi Rod.
The email was sent yesterday (Wednesday) at 10.23am. I do notice that you are using a Yahoo email address though which is probably where the problem lies. Some web based email systems will treat some mail as junk for some reason.
The info sent was “The door handle kit is £20.28 inc VAT and postage.”
If you would like one sent, give my company a ring on 01392 467889 with your details. (I may not be available personally, but one of the staff who answer will have access to parts enquiries etc)
Dave.

If it’s any help, I’ve got a couple of old manuals here from different manufacturers.
If you want one, email me your address and I’ll post it to you.

Do what some of my customers do then (public), cut the end off and try and get me to replace it as it’s faulty 🙄
Don’t you just love the public sometimes ?

Then why not just guide them to here and post up who or where they are, someone will be more than glad to help I’m sure.

ParticipantRe: Shop@
In light of streetlighter’s post which mentions VAT, it does make a massive difference if you are VAT registered with the mark up thingy.
At the end of the day the simple formula is……
…remember that everything you sell and everything you do has to make a {e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} profit.
That includes labour and parts.
Please don’t take this as a condescending preach type thing, but it’s fairly essential that you know exactly what your own overheads are to work out what you should be charging to make a reasonable profit on the work you do.

ParticipantRe: Defrost Heater Element
Any chance of taking a photo and posting it or email it to me ?
Hopefully I may be able to identify a suitable replacement.
I’ll try anyway 😉
