    Re: AEG Dishwasher wheels

Hi, the wheels are £3.65 each inc VAT (plus postage) and come with the axles.

If you drop me an email or use the helpdesk (spares) function, I’ll sort out the ordering information for you.

Re: BSH Appliance Care Website the best…?

Yes, I have to agree with all the above.

I only have one occasional problem, if a part number has been changed the system does not always recognise this and the part will just hang in the system until a phone call is made, but apart from that, yes, a great way of ordering spares.

    Re: Baumatic d/w BDW5

Albert, Baumatic are the only people who have info on their products. Their number is +44 (01189) 336922.

If you get the part number from them, post it back because it’s more likely another manufacturer that made it and more easily obtainable from them.

Never heard of them until you mentioned them in your previous post.

Was it just that wierd part you were after from before ?

Post up the part number again and I’ll check on Agora in the morning………..If you ask nicely 😆

    Re: AEG Dishwasher wheels

Which wheels is it you need ?

    Upper or Lower basket ?

If it is the upper basket, is it the wheels attached directly to that basket or are they attached to the dishwasher wall ?

    Re: OCEAN SPARES

AJP, I can only see one heater and one thermal cut out on the diagram. I guess that both the cut outs are the same and the heater is a combined one which does both defrost functions.

    Part numbers :

    Heater 45X7957
    Cut out 45X7956

Hi, reply sent by email regarding prices etc.

Not an easy job no, and one that should be undertaken by an engineer really.

    Re: Iberna Fridge Freezer

As I thought with most products, identifying these “cosmetic” parts is not easy. Can you specify the following please:

Which position on the fridge door the shelves are you require, and whether they are full width or half width ?

In the freezer compartment, which position do the drawer fronts fit, i.e. top, middle or bottom. Do they actually fit directly to the basket or do they drop down on a hinge attached to the freezer inner wall ?

The salad crisper glass cover is easy 🙂

    Re: Charges!

It’s certainly worth a go, even if we can just get a “feel” of what the public are prepared to pay for decent repairs.

£65 sounds to much IMO, but where we are, even though it is considered a fairly lucrative area, the only people willing to pay those prices are Miele owners.

But I’m willing to give it a shot 😀

    Re: Comet Service

There’s been talk on and off for a while about the viability of Comet doing in house repairs with bought out guarantees since the split with Kingfisher (and before).

Rumours have come and gone that some work providers were being offered contracts etc, nothing ever seems to happen, perhaps it is starting to now 😉

Who knows what will come of it, there sure isn’t any independant work my way from them, and to be honest, if they offered it I’d tell them where to shove it anyway and wait for the same work to come via the manufacturer or insurer.
