ParticipantRe: Bosch MBS533BS0B double built in oven installation
Thanks. I did, and the installation sheet I have here is different from the one you have. There’s nothing in any of the literature that came with the oven which refers to the blocks. They’re in the bin now!

Thanks. As you say, it looks like a new machine.

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFX2467GB detergent drawer
Thanks. That’s the part number I searched for originally and it came back as ‘RS59273’ on Ransom Spares. Is there any way to ensure that I get exactly the tray I want to replace?

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel 1200 Express poor spin
Thanks.
Water in the house was turned off while we were away but someone came round to check the house each week and they turned the water on while they were there so they could use the toilet. It was also turned on for a day after our return before we used the machine.
I checked the hoses were clear by removing them where possible, and squashing them along their length where it was not.
The outlet pipe is hooked over the top of the waste pipe and not pushed down into it.
I’ll do the rinse check when the current load has finished. In the meantime, is there any other possible cause for the problem?

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel 1200 Express poor spin
I’ve tried to ignore this problem over the past several months but the operator is becoming less and less happy. She wants it fixed!
All of the internal and external hoses are clear, and the spin seems to be up to speed.
The only other oddity I have noticed is that, after being away for three weeks, we came back to a machine with a lot of water in the drum. Not up to the door, but visibly covering the bottom. Could it be that the water inlet valve has become lazy and is letting water through when it should be closed? Could it be partially opening during a spin?

Thanks, I’ll have a look.

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel 1200 Express poor spin
Thanks for the responses.
The brushes were replaced a couple of years ago and the pump trap/filter is clear. I’ll check that water can exit freely. The drain hose is hooked over an open waste pipe so any blockage must be in the hose itself (there’s no water on the floor!).

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel 1200 Express poor spin
Thanks for the suggestion: I haven’t, only the impeller housing through the removable access at front, bottom right.
Where would I find the filter?

ParticipantRe: New World NW60F oven door hinge
The oven is away from home so I can’t see how the hinges might be replaced before I set off. Any helpful hints would be appreciated!

Thanks. Found it at GDHAOnline with the help of the part number.

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel 1200 Express overfilling
Well, after a good deal of trouble removing the screw next to the detergent drawer to release the front panel, I’ve replaced the door seal!
However, despite releasing and blowing through the thin black pipe which connects the drum assembly to the white plastic drain hose assembly at the top rear right of the machine, releasing and blowing bubbles through the black pipe with the longitudinal ribbing which connects to the white plastic assembly at the top front right and blowing bubbles through the drain pipe which extends from the bottom front right of the machine, there’s still no drum movement.
If I set the machine to the rinse programme, the drum fills with water, there are double timer-type clicks every 30 seconds without any movement anywhere, and then the water is pumped out.
Have I missed a blockage in a pipe somewhere or is there another fault?

I’m sure it’s going to be fun! Many thanks for your help.
