Hi
The only decorative strip I know of for your model is this one which is for your oven to a compact oven. However the compact oven being 45.5 and your warming drawer at 29cm is clearly is going to be too big.
As Electrofix has already said a call to Neff will give you the definitive answer.

Hi
Another way you could try would be to source a new O ring from somewhere like this company

ModeratorRe: Aqualtis Auto dose issue
Hi Tim
So lets take your post in order.
First off when you make a post on a forum that post is your property and nobody else’s. User Dimitri if he looked in on here could have a right go at you for lifting his post and at us on this site for allowing it to appear on here as we now know where it came from. Which is why I posted that picture with an explanation.
Secondly you only have to look through the forums to see how unreliable and poorly made Hotpoint appliances are compared to say 20 years ago. If the auto dosing as in this case was a winner then don’t you think Hotpoint would have carried on with it? Don’t you think other manufacturers would have gone with it? Whirlpool premium end FSCR12441 and I believe there may still be a Miele at about a grand there are no others.
As for your last post we tell things as they really are we do not pretty things up. Some like this others don’t I don’t apologise for this. If you want an honest opinion then the that is what you will get from the mods and the users on this site.Just out of curiosoty what is the model number of the Aqualtis? Have you recently purchased this? If so where from?
Regards

Sometimes Dave a potential spammer will test the water to see what they can get away with before riddling the forums with other nuisance topics.
Poster is on my radar 😉

Hi
Hotpoint have not produced an auto dose machine for a good seven years and back then IIRC it was a 9kg model. One of the new Whirlpool machines does have this so perhaps they are going back to it at the premium end.
However what concerns me more is the OP has lifted the whole post from a thread on diy.com from February 2012 by user Dimitri!! So now we have a copyright issue.
IP address checked and looks okay. but something is not quite right. The user name on here is Tim which comes out of Dimitri Me being cynical? Probably yes.

Hi
Sadly without a make and model number we are unable to help.
Article here will explain why 😉

Hi
Yes the Miele is worth considering but have a read of this article first so you have the whole picture.

ModeratorRe: BSH group dishwashers.
Hi Steve
there has been several mods at production level to this base over the last year or so. From what we can gather too many hot cycles are causing the base to distort, water then leaks into the base area.
Like you we have been sealing them but after a few months the problem reappears, no doubt the customer is still using the hot cycle despite us advising not to all the time. To my knowledge there is no official fix for this.
We no longer sell any BSH dishwasher with the Polyinox base and do not recommend them either and advise the customer as to why.We now sell up to the all stainless tanks which is series 4 and up on Bosch. In all fairness the price increase is not that much either.

Hi
The AEG, Zanussi and the JLP machines are all made by the same manufacturers ie Zanussi. The AEG will have more bells and whistles than the Zanussi and will probably be slightly better on energy efficiences. The JLP models are the base ones.
The AEG with the five year warranty is purely a marketing tool in order to make the appliance more attractive.
An alternative good spec machine is the Whirlpool FSCR90420 which has a free five year guarantee until the 31st of this month at £449 delivered direct. I can order for you if you wish.

Cheers Jim 😀 Good luck to your boys tonight.
Could be a re run of 1973 cup final but instead of a Bobby Stokes moment I’ll settle for a Shane Long winner 8)

Now booking next Tuesday for calls and Wed next week for deliveries outside the city. deliveries in the city just got a couple of slots left for Thursday.
Not had the same footfall in the shop this January compared to previous years but the spend per customer has more than made up for it 😉
