    Hi

I don’t know enough about Samsung products to be able to comment on durability etc.

I thought I would check out the 5 year warranty details and found the following.

” This offer only applies to the purchase of new (not second-hand) Samsung products of
the following types, which are sold by selected retailers in the UK or Republic of Ireland
    between 1st May 2013 and 31st May 2014″.

Sorry to be the kiljoy 😉

    Re: LPG Gas Ovens

    Hi

I think you are going to have to rethink your’e requirements and make a compromise or two.

To my knowledge the only built in single gas ovens as you rightly say are the Belling and New World (same company). While the oven side is gas the grill is fixed electric. As for LPG conversion I don’t think you can convert to LPG although a call to the manufacturers will confirm this.

Hobs are easier, Bosch and Neff gas hobs are about the best without going to mad on price, they also come with the gas jets as standard which your’e Gassafe engineer can fit. The cast iron pan supports are also superb.

    HTH 🙂

    Hi

You haven’t said what width of appliance you are looking for?

Personally I would not go for frost free as they tend to be less reliable. The best machine I know of in a 600mm wide and coming in right on budget woulkd this Bosch.

It’s a well made product for the price and comes with the normal Bosch two year guarantee.

    Hi

I can’t see one on the Amica website, it may be worth giving them a ring though 😉

There is a universal stacking kit here in our shop. Check the measurements first to make sure it will fit the profile of the Amica.

Re: Is it just me or is anyone else quiet?

The West Country seems generally to be doing well, probably due to the fact we have no heavy, mining or motor industry which has cost loads of jobs up north which in turn has a knock on effect in other parts of the country reducing living standards considerably for an awful lot of people.

As for ourselves we are doing nicely, now booking next Thursday for delivery and installs, Wednesday next week for service calls, three day lead time on workshop repairs and spares for visiting trade guys and DIYers is ticking over nicely.

We do contract service work plus our own cash customers, selected letting agents and private landlords are catered for as well.

On the retail side we supply the lets and landlords along with our own customers. We are selective on which brands we display and sell but if a customer wants a product we don’t stock I will gladly supply it if I can.

I also look out for niche areas which the multiples do not get involved in like Gorenje retro refrigeration and the large capacity Maytag American laundry machines.

Don’t all come rushing down from the North looking for a share though 😉

I had great difficulty getting spares for a Panasonic washing machine.

I eventually went to a fairly local independant Panasonic tv shop who was very helpful and able to get it for me within days.

They are happy for me to post their contact details here for any of you guys/gals who would like to order from them. They have the parts breakdown manuals and can evan get them for you if you want them.
