Re: MIELE PART: MLE1880308 Dryer motor needed

    Hi

I doubt anyone would have one sat on a shelf if the Connect price is anything to go by :eeek:

You could try Dave in the UKW shop spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you wish to order one.

    Worse than Whirlpool 😥

I’d still go with Bosch or Neff.

    Hi

nilocp wrote:We are in Barbados, and the local Whirlpool guys only do American machines I am afraid! Most of those are steam driven, a few electric now!!!!!

I think you have answered part of your question in an earlier post 😉 🙂

That aside no supplier here in the UK will part with any service info unless you are an agent. So from that angle I would be looking at Bosch or Neff to export for better reliability and use this site for any further help or assistance should it be required from the guys on here. Dave in the UKW shop can ship spares out to you from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should it be required.

From previous experience of consumers exporting machines from the UK you will not have any warranty provision on any UK designated appliance abroad either.

I know appliances cost more in Barbados but If it were me I would still be making my purchase locally so I have the the peace of mind should any service be needed. Only problem is I don’t know if you can get integrated ones though.

    HTH 🙂

    Received this by PM,

Can anyone shed any light on this for fluffyshadow?

My friends machine is a Hoover New Wave 1200 Auto wash Serial No: AC or AG 17440300634.

Have found out that the start light will come on and be green but the display does not appear at all apart from one or two lights that flicker then go out.
would really appreciate the help on this
Thank you very much as friend needs to have a working washer.
We are in Victoria in the country not far from Kilmore/Seymour.

    Cheers.

    Hi

Yes it is an end of line model, however you should still be able to pick one up for a good price from a local independent stockist.

    Hi

Gorenje are well worth a look then Bosch, Neff and Miele if you can afford to go the extra mile.

    Hi

Can you confirm the model number please as I can find no record of a ZBF60260 anywhere even Google says no.

Posting up the PNC or prod number from the label is the best way forward.

    Hi

A little more info would help like whereabouts in Oz?

That serial number would be helpful and what’s wrong with the appliance as well.

All that aside I’ll move this to our Oz forum and keep our fingers crossed someone sees this who can help.

    Hi

I would leave both well alone 😉

I would take a look at the Gorenje B510X, two year warranty, you should be able to source through most independents for under £200.

Most if not all retailers will always have at least one budget end not so good quality brand, if you don’t someone else will and no one wants or can afford to give business away to a competitor these days.

    Hi

I think your’e going to be disappointed on both counts 😥 shortest I can find is the Lec TL55142W at 144cm high and only comes in white.

Unless you can find the extra height you may have to go undercounter at 85cm high but at least there will be some silver ones to choose from.

    Hi beren

This article in our buying advice section should set you on the right road.

Hopefully users R600A and eastlmark will see this and should be able to advise on supply and install.
