Thanks
John 😥I have deleted this post in the general appliance section.
Best to keep it to one thread, less confusing 😉

Hi dell1
Click here for heat resistant glue for oven doors you will need to remove the door, make sure both surfaces are clean, weight the door down for 24 hours to allow the glue to cure, trim off any excess and refit door.

Hi
I myself have no experience of the Hotpoint I`m afraid but I`m sure someone else may have, so as they say watch this space 😉
On the installation side of things I would phone the Hotpoint advice line on
08000 921 922 just to be sure, the last thing you need is a null and void guarantee because of an unsatisfactory installation.HTH 🙂

Hi
Stoves, Belling and New World all come under the Glen Dimplex Home Appliances umbrella. The Stoves badge will be to a higher spec and you will get a few added extras. New World fills the lower end of the market while Belling sits in the middle of their price structure.
Hotpoint generally produce good ovens, I would leave Baumatic well alone.
Gas ovens are very low volume sellers hence the lack of choice out there. Probably has something to do with all the cooking programmes on TV these days :rolls: All the chefs seem to favour the dual fuel option ie gas hobs which are more responsive than their electric counterparts and an electric multifunction oven.
HTH 🙂

ModeratorRe: Hotpoint Fridge Freezer FFA 52P in Marley Outhouse
Hi Joan
An article here on why refrigeration in outbuildings won`t work is a good start.
The climate class SN referred to in the article is what is considered to be the best working enviroment for UK use and all refrigeration is made to this standard, however with the extreme temperatures we have experienced of late, especially in Scotland, I`m not surprised yours has stopped working correctly.
The fit for purpose may be a litle more challenging as Hotpoint do state in their literature the following
Hotpoint wrote: For climate class information and advice such as whether your appliance is suitable for use in an outbuilding or location other than a kitchen please call our product information team on 08000 92 19 22
AFAIK there are no manufacturers that produce domestic refrigeration which will cope with low temperatures, so It`s probably going to be the case that you either move the appliance to a warmer location ( not easy I know) or wait until the temperatures rise when the machine will resume normal working or introduce a heat source to the current location in order for it to burst into life again.
Sorry but that`s about as good or bad as it gets I`m afraid.

Gorenje BO4375AX mainly sold through the independant and kitchen suppliers, similar price to the Bosch but comes with a five year warranty.

Hi
Another thread from last week on this very topic, SN class requires ambient temp of +10 to +32 degrees C in order to perform correctly.
