ModeratorRe: Dishwashers ok with extended long hoses??
Hi shirl
Like penguin45 said earlier buy cheap buy twice 😉 both of the models you have quoted will probably be Chinese imports and will not last long at all, much better to pay a little more now than have heartache later.

ModeratorRe: Dimensions needed for Indesit K642VSXG
Hi
Dual fuel it is then 😀 , Indesit, Cannon and Hotpoint group seem to have about the largest ranges. You will need to download the Indesit catalogue to find any suitable models.
The gas cut off in the lid mechanism has been around for many years and very rarely gives any trouble.
In your original post you say ” It has to be FSD compliant “. If the cooker is intended to be used in a flat or a multi occupied accomodation then FSD / FFD would be required on the hob.

ModeratorRe: siemens ovens opinions
Hi
Siemens as helo says is a step up, while you will pay a higher price you normally get a five year warranty and a slightly higher spec as opposed to the usual Bosch/ neff two year. Each of the brands has it`s own identity however when it comes to service it would be the same engineer that calls irrespective of the brand purchased.
We went for the single oven / combo microwave a couple of years ago in Neff and have been pleased so far.

ModeratorRe: Dimensions needed for Indesit K642VSXG
Hi
Are you after all gas or dual fuel and is a lid required?
I believe the K642VSXG is a 60cm wide cooker I just can`t remember the fuel type.
Thread moved to the cooking forum 😉

Hi deej
I moved your question from the duplicate thread you created. It`s easier to answer in just one 😉 .

ModeratorRe: Thinest in width cooker
Hi Dave
50cm now I`m afraid is the narrowest. The Tricity SB200 Tiara was the narrowest at 46cm but I can`t find any around.
The only other option would be to give Kitchen Economy a call. They used to recondition all sorts of electric cookers they may be able to help.

Ken`s right it is Whirlpool. There`s about eight different 85 number code versions listed on SIOS :rolls: .

ModeratorRe: Looking for new fridge/freezer
Hi Bailey
Haier is a Chinese brand, sold almost exclusively through the Comet group, they look good but that`s about as good as it gets i`m afraid. You would do better to invest your hard earned cash elsewhere.

ModeratorRe: Neff Ovens
Hi Scotmum
Thanks for the kind words I`m glad we were able to help. It`s so nice when people take the trouble to say thankyou, usually you only hear about the horror stories.
Out of curiosity which Neff model did you decide on and where did you purchase from?
You never know it may help someone else in the future with a similar enquiry.
