    Re: AWOL

We`re on holiday as from tomorrow for one week. Taking daughter and grandaughter down to Cornwall, been a bit of a rough year for them after divorcing her husband and moving back in with us. Just hoping a holiday will do us all good.

There is WIFI where we are staying so will pop in regularly to see what`s going on.

    Re: connections Log In

We normally place ours around 2.50pm not had a problem so far in recieving orders. The only blip we have had in the past is if the carriers have ” lost / mislaid” the carton or it wasn`t collected on time from Connect in Birmingham.

    Hi mara

Looks like the Sanyo EM-S1067 is the replacement for the one you quoted. That apart I`ve been impressed with the Daewoo KOR6L1B, we have sold quite a lot of these over the last couple of years with only one being returned due to physical damage. You should be able to pick one of these up for about £45.

    Hi

This could be an option http://www.iseappliances.co.uk/

Two deals to have a peek at would be theISE AW23 with a two year warranty £449.99 delivered and installed or if you can go the extra mile then the same machine ISE AW23 with a full five year warranty £519.99 delivered and installed

If these are a little steep then take a look at something like a Bosch WAE24164 around the £330.00 mark. Good all round machines with a two year warranty.

Coming down again I would go with one of the Zanussi ZWF12070 with the normal one year warranty.

    What? Exeter? Never……….

    :p45:

If we are to we will have to play better than we did last night against Spurs at St James Park :rolls: City 0 Spurs 3, O`Hara with a first half strike and Lennon with two second half goals. Good for the club though as it attracted a sell out crowd, nice little pre season earner, thanks Tottenham.

    Hi Tinov

No such thing in the UK I`m afraid as you have already found they are all 60cm wide. The only thing you could do would be remove the hob, cut through the worktop and fit a 50cm freestanding gas or electric cooker. Only thing to remember is if you go for electric you will need to have a 45A supply back to the fuse board.

Re: Recommendations for new hob and cooker

    Hi sec79

Sorry to blow you out of the water but you will not get a decent oven which will last say ten years for that sort of budget for a single oven in stainless or brushed steel. Sure you will find quite a few products for that money but it will be budget brands. This link gives you a guide of cooking products, while this one sorts out the brands behind the names.

Neff is always regarded as a good all round brand for quality, reliability and and for having a two year warranty as well. Single ovens in steel start with the B12M42N0GB, a quick google search says it can be purchased for £363.00. A four burner matching hob starts with the T2124N1EU at £143. So by upping the budget by around a hundred and ten pounds you will get a quality appliance and if looked after it should give years of good service.

Re: New kitchen – can i fit in my existing appliances

    Hi

The only way of achieving the built in look rather than spending out on integrated appliances which as you say may only be for a couple of years would be for the kitchen company to “hang” doors off the existing carcass or on a post if space allows.

The other expensive option would be to have good quality integrated appliances fitted, which would give you a nicer finish to the kitchen. If and when you decide to move house a good kitchen is always a good selling point as any estate agent will testify, you could even sell them as seperate items if you wished.
