I fancy it`s a bit of clever marketing that Martin 😉 Increase the price for 28 days in the last six months to satisfy trading standards and drop the price down to what it should be ie circa £320.00 show a whopping saving of £110.00 and loads of punters will have a pop at it thinking it`s the bargain of the year.

Trade price to us Indies is £219.00 at the mo.

Don`t know where you got that price from Martin? It`s their entry level machine, the stub door handle gives it away 😉 . Typical retailer price if you buy in bulk £219.00, internet price circa £290.00

What`s wrong with Liverpool and Chelski then? Both had good wins last night especially Liverpool in the Champions league and yet no one posts anything up.Is it a case there are no supporters on the board or are they both hated that much 😯

    Hi

Out of those I would probably go with the Beko. Parts are cheaper and there is none of the nasty electronics that the Indesits and Hotpoint have.

If you can stretch and add a bit this Zanussi ZWF12070 would be a much better product in every way it`ll last longer, making it cheaper in the long run.

Not having been to a UKW bash before nor to the Millers, I thought the Hilton was in a good location, nice and close to the motorway for all directions. Accomodation was fine as was the food and the Flowers beer went down a treat as well. It was especially good to see so many people from UKW and nice to be able to put faces to the names.

While the presentations on the whole were excellent I for one would have liked a small amount of time dedicated to UKW. New website update, ISE update and plans for the future if any.

Dales-Electronic wrote:The major one that was indicated by my guests was the ignorant sods that talked through the presentations !!

Agreed, I did feel sorry for Eddie from QER who did struggle to keep his audience interested. All the other presentations were top notch.

roly16 wrote:Yes, I forgot to mention the staff; they were very nice and helpful. I actually left them a tip. Can’t think what’s come over me. 😯

Superb staff all of them, while I didn`t tip the reception staff I made sure the bar staff had a couple of beers.

What`s the point Andy you only spill the Coke which is just as expensive 😆 , and as for balancing the Bacardi glass on your knee ……………

Just like to add my thanks to everyone who made the whole thing possible, I hope everyone who attended managed to get something out of it which could possibly help their business survive in these uncertain times.

I think it`s very much a regional thing Martin, we are probably quite lucky down here as a lot of our business is with retired folk and people who have previously sold high in the home counties and bought cheaper down here. Coupled with the fact the Met office has had an impact as well. Add to that Devon will be the first county to switchover to digital TV starting late April. Needless to say we are busy on all fronts and we expect TV to go absolutely crazy with all the double retuning of digital equipment we will no doubt have to do.

With Liverpool dropping yet more points at home again today, it certainly looks like the title could be staying in the red side of Manchester.
