    Hi Nathan

This is one of the many threads that have gone before 😉 A search at the top of the page using keyword “raw” brings up many more.

Re: Replace door seal – Zanussi FJS 1225W

    Hi KMD

This happens a lot nowadays due to the low wash temperatures used. There are some good articles to be found in our advice and help section

    Here

    Here

    And Here

If the problem is serious then perhaps replace the door seal. To keep the new one clean Click here to purchase Affresh washing machine cleaner which will help keep your machine in tip top condition.

As for the fitting of a new seal click the ” find an engineer ” link in your post, it could save you pounds and hassle in the long run 😉

Should have twigged from the model number 😳 😆

In that case then it looks like it will have to be the Indesit. There isn`t anything else in the same price range.

    Hi

In that case then the Gorenje GVI60010 whch also has a two year warranty is much better than the Indesit and it is hardly any difference in price on Google 😉

I paid £250 for it BTW.

    Hi

Not much better than the Matsui I`m afraid 😉 . Much better to pay an extra £150 odd pound and get the Neff S54E53X1GB.It will last at least twice if not three times as long as the Indesit and it will also have a full two year warranty.

    Hi TC

They have now gone to a minimum order value of £500 for free delivery, I don`t know how much the delivery charge would be if the order value was under the minimum.

This Indesit KD6C35X would be a much better buy in that budget area and would still look good 😉

    Hi danda

1st choice would be the Electrolux it comes in under budget here 😉 good build quality.

2nd would be the Zanussi, same stable as Electrolux. However they do not produce a large capacity non frost free freezer. Again good build.

Coming in at 3rd the Hotpoint, the quality has gone down this year IMO.

In last place the Hoover, the quality has not been the same since Candy bought them out a few years ago.

If I were buying a freezer my choice would be the Liebherr G2413 What it lacks in capacity it more than makes up on the build quality that you would expect from a German supplier. The reliability is good and spares are reasonably priced.

    Hi Andy

Budget brand normally distributed by B.D.C. Okay for a property let or a single person but not of the best build. If you can post up the model number I may be able to come up with an alternative.
