It’s a personal choice really, and I miss my AEG. We are thinking of installing it behind a pair of double cupboard doors. Not ideal but at least it will be accessible and won’t spoil the line of the kitchen.
Hi SpaceIt`s probably about the best outcome you are going to get to be fair. While the door line should be okay the plinth will need to be cut through to allow the door on the AEG to open properly.

Hi Alex
Try these two links to start with they are much more up to date but not model specific 😉
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/buyi … guide.html

Bosch offer a good all round range of products which are well made and have a two year warranty.
Then you have Miele which if you can afford to go the extra mile on price will give a good product with guarantees ranging from two to ten years depending on the model purchased. However should the appliance fail they can be costly to repair and usually it requires a Miele engineer to resolve the fault as the tech is mainly pc compatible.
As an alternative to the mainstream suppliers there is the ISE range of washing machines, these offer a totally different concept in that they have been designed by engineers and others from this site, whoever installs the machine will almost certainly be the one who comes to carry out any repair should it go wrong, the spares out of guarantee are much cheaper than a lot of the others out there, the minimum guarantee is two years and when the machine comes to the end of it`s natural life it can be refurbed and then resold again.
Iv`e installed a few of these and I must say that the ISE10 is as a brilliant machine I have come across and customer feedback has been extremely encouraging. While it does come with a high price tag it`s ten year warranty and potential lifespan is a real bonus.
ISE10 1600 spin AAA rated with a full 10-year warranty available here

Hi Space
Can you give us a little more info on the integrated machine please ie make model and what the problem is. Is the kitchen and appliances a new install? As all to often we find that appliances that fail soon after install is very often down to poor installation.
As far as your old AEG goes you can`t fit a door to a freestanding appliance I`m afraid.

Hi deltra
I found this on Connect`s repaircare forum. It may help 😉

(Connect I.T) We have been asked if we can go back to the old way of using Mediator?
If you preferred the old way the quickest answer we can give is, if you go into “mysettings/manage users” click on the user you want to change and go down to the “Display Options”. Put a tick in Exploded Part Diagrams,
Then when using the system use the “brand” button on the left hand side, this will look and feel similar to the old way.Hope this helps

Hi jacga
The Bosch and Neff products are some of the best out there. Although both brands are part of the same group the designs are different cosmetically. Neff is usually slightly cheaper while still giving the same quality.
Take a read of this article on American fridge freezers, it should help the decision making 😉

I agree Phidom but at least the pictures are quicker to load and easier to see now that they are not using Java 😉

Be ideal if we could actually ‘see’ one beofre purchasing, but I guess seeing a Miele is just the same.Hi
Nothing on the Liebherr website re stockists I`m afraid http://www.liebherr.com, but a phone call will probably yield the info 😉 Phone: 08444 – 122655

Hi
They are well designed, very reliable, extremely quiet due to the type of compressor they use, energy efficient with some achieving A++, interiors are user friendly, the cabinets are well finished and they look good to. Personally I prefer them to the Miele equivalents.
