    Hi Hazel

I can`t remeber the sizes on that model but the measurements of the new model are here on the AEG site so you can compare.

Re: Zanussi Eye Level Gas Cooker ZCGHL55XN

    Hi Clara

High level gas cookers are rapidly becominmg a thing of the past I`m afraid, as modern kitchens are now going for the sleek look and the generation that was brought up on them is now decreasing. I only sell about one about every six to eight weeks and then it`s the Flavel models :rolls:

The only ones I know of apart from the Flavel you have already found would be the Tricity L55M2 only in white though, which is from the same stable as Zanussi. The other one which is now discontinued is the Cannon Westminster 10555G in white. Someone may have an odd one in stock 😉 if you can compromise on the colour that is.

Possibly not, I was just trying to give a few more options of suppliers who produce a higher spec machine where the fans may not be aluminium. Coupled with the fact it could replace the AEG in the housing. You could then sell the AEG and realise some capital return.

As you said you could not use your AEG oven, I thought that by replacing it with a built in combination microwave may have been a solution for you.

In that case then I don`t know of any other manufacturer or retailer that will be in a position to help you.

    Hi Dave

Whirlpool discontinued theirs a few years ago. The smallest I know of is this Sovereign SL602 which is 48cm wide. If you can get this to fit they can be obtained from DAD at Gloucester on 01452 504084.

    Hi Caroline

Can the pipework be tidied up or rerouted to gain the extra depth you need? If not can the washing machine be relocated to another area? If that`s out of the question then there is the Bosch WLX24162 slimline washing machine as it`s only 40 cm deep a kitchen unit door could be hung on a post to give that integrated look.

Re: New Forum?…..”Medic Advice for engineers”?

Our local Bosch / Neff engineer had an adjustable platform when he called to repair our combination microwave which is in a tower above a single oven. He simply raised it up to slide the microwave onto it, dropped it down to carry out the repair , cranked it back up again and the job`s a goodun. He didn`t have to lift anything heavier than his screwdriver. I don`t know if this was something he had bought himself or if it was general issue.
