    Hi

    There are still some good buys in that price range. My pick of the bunch in no particular order would be;

As per your previous post this is a good machine normally produced by the Electrolux group and with it`s 3 year warranty is a good buy

    http://www.johnlewis.com/230473545/Product.aspx

This AEG is from the same stable as the John Lewis as abaove but in a different skirt.

If you can go the extra half a mile then the Gorenje with it`s five year warranty is a good bet

Don`t forget to order some Chromol 500mlstainless steel cleaner to keep your appliance looking good.

Well done Exeter City, Conference play off winners 2008 😀 What a cracking day out at Wembley yesterday for the 20,000 travelling supporters. All the more sweet after last years disappointment.

They look to have extra bells and whistles too. Multi-function and one have top and bottom heat settings and are cheaper or same price than the Neff…which is always good! 😀

When it comes down to features against build quality, longevity of life, reliability and ease of use I know where I`d be looking 😉

Use Chromol 500ml stainless steel cleaner to keep stainless looking good.

Must make an appointment for Specsavers :rolls: 😆

In that case most definately the Neff B1442 it is a well made machine with good spec and features without being over fussy, easy to use, has a two year warranty backed up by a nationwide service, comes with a two year warranty and comes in under budget as well.

Is there a height reduction kit for the ISE 5 machine? Or if I go with the sheet of ali on the top do you know what height the machine will then be?

    Thanks for your help.

Also i trust that the machine is well known and servicable by most engineers?

    Thanks

I`m sure Ken or one of the other guys will respond shortly to the lid issue. As far as the service aspect is concerned all engineers are approved by ISE to carry out installations and repairs. If you click on my ISE link above you can see the product spec and ethos to the machines.

    Hi Keller

The Bosch Classixx 1400 spin is one of our best sellers of what has proved to be a good range of machines with it`s two year warranty. To save a few bob on the Bosch genuine reduction kit you could just purchase a sheet of alloy and drill your own holes for fixing 😉

On another note for a few pounds more you could consider one of our own machines which have been designed by engineers on this site. The ISE5 1600 spin AAA rated with a full five year warranty at £449 comes in the price range. After sales service is carried out locally and the spares are reasonably priced too 😉 Not sure if the machine will come off to take a reduced lid though. I`m sure someone will tell.

Another nail to join this one then http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ic&t=34156 Add to this all the DSG rumours, the picture isn`t looking very rosy at all. I think the UK is in for a bit of a rough ride for a while.

Whirlpool do have a spares site but you cannot get 12 number code specific and there are no exploded diagrams either. Connect distribution are the same. We would like to save loads of dosh as well 😉
