    Hi Martin

You can get part numbers, exploded diagrams and stock availability here
http://www.aeg-electrolux.co.uk/node329.asp the only thing you can`t get is trade prices 😉 quite useful though.

    Hi Helen

I think there is an E in the middle of that number 😉 I have supplied quite a few of those over the last year and not had one complaint. The install is fairly easy and adjusting the legs for the correct height is made easy by a central “jacking type point”. Having a two year warranty you are well covered in any case.

    Hi jack

There`s a lot of info here which answers a lot of the questions we get asked on a regular basis.

My own choices would be Hotpoint or Bosch.

    Hi

Could be that something has been spilt on it and has allowed corrosion to set in.

This article may help http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … ances.html explain things.

What a shame yet another bricks and mortar closure.

Sad to say but I think this year is going to be really tough and we may well see more of this happening.

It certainly does what it says on the bottle 😉 I like the rich feel it gives appliances and the fact that a little goes a long way. Worth every penny in my book.

Too cheap and cheerful I`m afraid, sold two units lately and had complaints on both within 48 hours. I certainly won`t be recommending them again.

Can anyone recomend a decent one? I am being more cautious these days as both of the above have been fraught with problems since day one.

I have read good things about Bosch on this site, but the only Bosch Washer/Condenser dryer I can find is built in and not free standing.

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi Chris

Washer dryers are not the best of appliances TBH, they don`t really do what they say they will do. It`s much better to have two seperate machines, much more reliable and energy efficient as well.

Take a look at the two articles they make for very interesting reading 😉

As far as brands are concerned then the Miele is the best, but it isn`t cheap at over a grand, next best IMO is the Bosch WVD24520GB

    Hi Canard

It seems to be only the range type cookers at the moment like the Cannon professional 90 or it`s sister the Hotpoint EG902GX. There are a few all gas twin cavity and double ovens in 50cm and 60cm available if that`s an option worth considering.
