It`s the same on the retail side too. We used to deal direct with Lec but after the takeover, GDHA wanted about £60K or something like that a year IIRC before they would even consider a direct account. Other option was to source through Inmans who became the main distributor. Needless to say we don`t keep any Lec in stock now. If a customer needs a one off appliance I just order through DAD.

What a nailbiter 😯 but England are one up in the tri series against the Aussies, winning by 4 wickets. Hero Collingwood 120 not out and Bell 65.
Roll on Adelaide on Sunday

Anyway I take it that the Bosch is best then? Make sense as we inherted a Bosch with the last house and it was great! We could trace it 10 years and it was still working fine when we passed it on! Wish I brought it with me now.I`m with you on this one  you will have a far greater choice of appliances, style and colour if you go for freesdtanding appliances and you will pay less too. Bosch is still good 😉

ModeratorRe: Bosch Exxcel dryer venting query
Hi
Great choice  the WTV74306 does vent from the rear as well as the left side and the vent hose is supplied. I found the spec on the Bosch website the detail is about two thirds down the spec list left column http://www.boschappliances.co.uk/produc … aspx?id=11 .

Just a thought as it`s a new build. Remove the waste hose from the sink spigot and check to see if the spigot tip has been cut off to allow the water to drain away. Installers do tend to forget to cut these off . We have known this to be the case time and time again in new builds. Otherwise it`s probably engineer time 😉 .

ModeratorRe: “Fully” integrated washing machine – size does
Chari wrote:Planing to have an integrated dishwasher and integrated washing machine in new IKEA kitchen. They can sell me a dishwasher but we have to source our own washing machine. They tell me that the depth should be 58cm (cabinets are 60cm deep) and that it should come with hinges to attach to the kitchen door.
That`s about the depth for this type of product. Take a look at the Bosch site http://boschappliances.co.uk/products-d … .aspx?id=1 click on installation guide on the right for a full spec with sizes as an example.

Would this really allow for the plumbing at the back ? I have been looking on (hundreds!) of websites – if they say “integrated dishwasher” – is this what I should be ordering ? Websites don’t seem to offer much info re depth/height or the hinges thing !? Any advice would be much appreciated !!Just be aware that there are two different sorts of “integrated appliances” one which is called semi integrated whereby you will see the control panel when the kitchen door is attached and the other which is fully integrated has a full length door so no controls show. As for the plumbing I would have the appliances delivered first then get the plumber in to get a good install.

Yes they are all semi integrated dishwashers. Only trouble is none of those produce a semi integrated washer dryer to match only fully integrated 😉 . Whirlpool was the only mainstream brand I could find that did both, of course if you are not bothered about the “look” then yes you can mix the brands.
The Bosch models are the SGI45E series and the SGI45M55GB.

One thing getting to the final another thing is winning it seeing as it`s a best of three final, time for the lads to stand up and be counted methinks.

Semi-integrated is now an absolute nightmare. 🙁
K.That about sums up the semi integrated market I`m afraid 😥 . Whirlpool are about the only mainstream supplier that I know of. The washer dryer is the AWG320 and the dishwasher is the ADG644 both in white finish. They also stock a brown and stainless steel dishwasher fascia but only the white in the washer dryer. As Ken says the market is very small nowadays.
Another option you could do apart from freestanding as Ken suggested, would be to change the doors to the full length ones if still available and go for fully integrated appliances where the choice is greater.
