Stick with the Panasonic SD253 by far the best one out there without spending the earth 😉 . The budget ones are no good when it comes to spare parts.

Pik A Pak also stock these IG0010 for small 800w heater IG0020 for the 1200w and IG0030 for the 1800w version.

I don`t recognise it :con: . Carlton is Curry`s own brand so it could be anyone that made it, a call to Curry`s service perhaps might reveal something. Failing that I expect someone here will know 😉

Spot on iadom with that post

I would stick with the Bosch range sunflower look at the WFL2067 for a 1000 spin or the WFO2467 which is a 1200. You can see them here http://boschappliances.co.uk

You can go up further in the range if you are wanting more features and functions such as time delay, LCD displays and higher spin speeds. They also come with a two year guarantee as well.

Let us know how you get on

    Re: another joke.

Five surgeons were talking about the best patients…

First surgeon says, “Accountants are the best to operate on because when you open them up, everything on the inside is numbered.”

Second surgeon says, “Nah – librarians are the best. Everything inside them is in alphabetical order.”

Third surgeon responds, “Try electricians, man! Everything inside them is color coded!”

Fourth surgeon intercedes,” I prefer lawyers. They’re heartless, spineless, gutless, and their heads and butts are interchangeable.”

To which the fifth surgeon, who has been quietly listening to the conversation, says, “I like engineers. They always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end.”

The Bosch or Hotpoint models have been the ones that we have been looking at to date, if you have any ‘points to watch’, I would be most grateful.

We are looking to spend around £250-£300 and would like to get one that will last. Are there any reccomendations?
    😀

The Hotpoint CTD00 comes in white, a beige colour they call sandstone and graphite which is a silver grey is a basic 7kg machine with two heat settings and easy to empty water container. The CTD40 in all the colours is exactly the same fabric but has 12 hour time delay, end of cycle alarm but it does cost more. can be seen here http://www.hotpoint.co.uk

Then there is the Bosch WTE84107GB which has been produced to a higher standard, with easy to read programme text and a large door opening this really has to be the one. Comes with a two year guarantee too. can be seen here http://www.boschappliances.co.uk

A visit to your`e local retailer should prove fruitful 😉
