Your compressor has failed and will require replacement.

    Re: Spares Stock Advice

The million dollar question! It can take years to get the right balance of van stock when you dont have your own spares retail shop, if you do contract work its easier, if not its dependant on whats popular in your area and what you specialise in, as we are bosch neff siemens dealers we carry more parts for these etc.

    Re: Unbalanced load sensor

Use to get a lot of servis machines that wouldnt spin and the solution was to tighten the belt as much as possible which would increase the load on the motor, then of course go back 3 months later and replace the drum bearings!

    Re: Unbalanced load sensor

I thought it sensed it through the load on the motor and as that is normaly connected to the module easy to configure and inhibit

The engineer would only get electrocuted if he had left the appliance badly repaired and with no earth, and if he was that bad he wouldnt be able to carry out these tests. I only know of one instance of an engineer being electrocuted and that was in leicester some 25 years ago at AA vacuums when an engineer put his had in the drum to spin it as the customer said it was noisy and got electrocuted as the previous engineer left the earth off.

I wonder if my central heating engineer carries out these tests when he services my boiler?

See you later martin, as usual when counter arguments are posted that dont fit in with your opinions you start to be jovial. I personally think my opinions and that of others have helped all to see an all round view of what the original poster first asked about and obviosly expand on it , we all know about the piece of equipment, what it does and weather the rest of us should get one, its a forum!

Self cleaning condenser uses the water to rinse it self, so if it pumped it away down the drain it wouldnt be able to self rinse/clean! Thats why you cant put the drain kit on a heat pump machine with self clean.

Sorry martin you are using any thing to justify your opinion. You are not a doctor so you can not diagnose a stroke you can only give your opinion as you are not qualified! That is my point above, unless you are qualified then you have no basis for telling customers that their electrical installation is not safe, what if you do and the customer then calls out a qualified electrician who tells the customer that their is nothing wrong? She ends up with a bill and you have no qualification to argue that the electrician is wrong. My opinion is that you should never tell anyone this stuff unless you have the qualifications to back it up!
And on this subject i will bet you that 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of engineers on this site dont even check the polarity and earth continuity to the appliance, and i dont see in the news loads of people being electrocuted by their machines.
