Excellent result, but i will just point out that any touch control induction hob will look fantastic and be easy to use, its how long it works for thats the difference between manufacturers and price points. You always get what you pay for.

I sort of agree with Lee8, but as there is no recognised training scheme and qualification on all aspects of this industry then the only way to get skilled is to work for someone or ask your peers for help and advice, and that is what this forums all about, at least those less skilled but frightened to ask can also read the help posts and this in turn will further the skills and knowledge which has got to be a good thing.

Best to lay on side, look at the back and you will see the black compressor, on one side there will be a pipe sticking out that dosnt go anywhere, lay it on this side. When you arrive at destination stand upright for at least 6 hours or overnight if you can, switch on then when its down to temputure put your food in. When new and still on their packaging we lay them on back, as the packaging protects the pipework at the rear.

How did you know it was a neutral? If a component has an earth path you will still get voltage reading as earth has same potential as neutral, so neutral could be fault

Thats not true at all, the better manufacturers dont use the same components as the cheeper barnds at all, and Lee8 you know that as you have most certainly worked on most brands.
Heres a rule that willmostly work, “If its cheep it will on average breakdown sooner than a premium product, it wont work as well as a premium product, it will use cheeper components, parts will be difficult to get in a few years, and it will work out as poor value in the long run” The exception will be if you are buying the product for someone else to use and you dont care what trouble or value it will cause or have.September 28, 2012 at 8:02 pm in reply to: Perks of buying appliances at trade price for ‘er indoors #382055DrDill

You cant really go by what you get called out to, most people with cheep appliances dont bother to call anyone out they just go out and buy another one, its probably thick with fat and grease and they are too embarrased to phone some one out.

And to add, as a retailer i sell products with a manufacturers warranty only, if that manufacturer goes belly up then thats that i am afraid unless a customer can proove that when i sold it it had the fault allready there or can show that the product unreasonably failed quickly,

Like i said though, the retailer is not legally responsible, myself i would try to help a customer. And in this case no manufacturer has gone bust, so service provision is maintained.
