Quite annoying when retail price from Wow Discounts is often the cheapest on Ebay with free delivery too and they are guess who?

I have given up on trade suppliers and use ebay/amazon. Once I find the manufacturer’s part numbers and alternative numbers I scan the market for the best price, pay with paypal and I have more consumer rights than a trade customer.
I am semi retired now and have time on my hands so if I spend an hour on ‘tinternet and save £30 I consider it to be time well spent.

Filters nowadays are just coin and button traps. Anything else just passes and the user still doesn’t clean it until the machine stops.
Natural fibres are biodegradable and the only solution to plastic pollution is to stop using it in clothing manufacture.
Manufacturers are not going to stop using polyesters and other because they are cheap so the answer is in legislation to ban the stuff because joe public will still keep buying the cheap disposable Primark crap and not quality longer lasting stuff.
My linen shirts are wearing well and have been washed 50+ times.
Right that’s the rant done so I’m just going to put my sandals on and go out and hug some trees.

Called at customer today wearing gloves and mask. Customer comes to door wearing gloves and mask. Paid cash and I sanitised the money. I have 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} alcohol spray sanitiser. Can’t be too careful but on reflection I think it is time to call a halt.

I would never pay someone to give me work which is essentially what you are doing by buying £3k of stock. Plus once you have “invested” you have to keep working for them to try and recoup your initial outlay and in the end you will be left with £3k of stock which will be worth next to nothing. I escaped from whirlpool a very long time ago and have not looked back. Also escaped VAT which was the best move I ever made.

Agent will have had sight of your public liability insurance and will know or will guess what is your excess and will pitch his claim below that on the basis that he just wants it to go away and you will just cough up and save him any work. Ask for photo evidence of the alledged bodged repair and if he haven’t got it then politely suggest that he do one.

Btw I would have stopped his credit long before it got to £1500

Whirlpool manufactured but the board for whirlpool fridges although identical to look at wont work as the temperature ranges are different.
There is a guy on ebay who is manufacturing these and the rear boards from scratch. I have seen his setup even uses 3D printer to make the plastic bits.

I can’t remember the last time I transported a machine for repair.
I bought a new house 22 years ago and fitted out the garage with a repair bay and never used it.

Starting with the selling price of £139.99. Take out the VAT and you have £116.58. Then there is the dealer mark up, manufacturing and distribution costs etc.
So where is the money to pay for a warranty call out or do they just give the customer a new one same as they do with kettles and toasters?

I got one too but won’t be accepting it until outstanding payments are made and yes it was a customer I attended previously and also different problem so I suspect they are expecting a free recall and as no prospect of further work I think I will sit on it for a while.
Can’t get into the portal either.

I have 5 completed jobs on their system this month and no self billing invoices have been generated. Have emailed them but no response yet.
Going on holiday in two days time so will chase it up when I get back.
