Yes Jim, the red machine gathering pace. Arsenal recently haven’t mounted a title challenge because they’ve not played well for a full season.
City slipping up, spurs slipping up, Chelsea getting a point with a dodgy penalty, it’s going to get interesting.

It’s obvious that you’re competent with electrics/electronics but I can almost guarantee, even from here, that the problem is not with the heater, but in terms of probability, more than likely associated with the fan.
That is not say that the fan itself is faulty, but at certain times it’s becoming impeded.
To look at the evaporator, you need to remove the clips on either side, underneath at the front.
This will allow the evaporator housing to swing down and you can remove the top insulation piece and inspect components inside.
From memory the heater can’t be replaced, instead the whole evaporator has to be changed. With respect, this job would be beyond even the most competent DIY-er.
Hope this helps you, but I would switch the appliance on and wait until the fault presented itself and inspect it in its fault condition, otherwise we’re just guessing.
Of course, you can check the integrity of the heater, but as I’ve said before, that won’t be the problem.

Burnley huffed and puffed to earn a 1-1 draw at home to Bournemouth today.
It was always going to be a tricky match, given the return of ex manager Eddie Howe.
Despite having the lions share of possession and chances, the clarets struggled to convert that into goals. Still top of the championship going in to the international break.
United playing tomorrow, what a game that should be!
Rochdale through to the next round of the cup whilst Oldham will have to replay at wolves.

    Re: NFF

if I was a manufacturer, then I think i’d tell the service provider that I would pay for all nff call outs in return for a chapter and verse report on the appliance, the call and possibly the customer.
i’d offer this for probably a year, during which time the information feeding back could be collated and fully digested.
using the information, we could formulate some pretty in depth filter questions to be asked at the first point of contact.
after asking the questions, the customer would be made fully aware that if a nff scenario was present, then a charge would be levied and ultimately warranty cancelled on non payment.
im not sure how legally correct that would be, but surely something could be worked into the terms and conditions of the sale to make it so.
peter makes many a valid point above and I think the manufacturers totally bring it on themselves when they read over and over again that the connector has been replaced on the pump.

Hello, you haven’t got a problem with your defrost heater.
If you had, then after defrosting manually, your problem would re occur in a couple of weeks or so at the very most.
I’d be willing to bet that the problem doesn’t lie with the defrost circuit at all, or the pcb, but is a more physical problem, resulting in the fan not working.
Where are you based? Have you tried the engineer search facility? If that proves unsuccessful, you could always call liebherr and ask them for their recommended engineer in your area.

    Cheers.

    Re: Liebherr GSN 3326-26A

Hello, putting this appliance in to service mode and from there in to defrost mode, wouldn’t tell you anything, unless you had a plug in energy meter and could gauge the power that the appliance was drawing and therefore if the heat circuit was good.
There is no fault code for heat circuit faults, just for sensors.
If components on the heat circuit fail, then the temperature would be higher than -12.
-12 would suggest that there was no fan operation. So, the likely scenario is that the fan is becoming blocked with ice and when you manually defrost it, you’re freeing the blockage, allowing the fan to work again properly.
I’d use the engineers search facility on this site to find an engineer that can handle this type of appliance.
    Hope this helps.

Yes, ex Burnley player Jay Rodriguez comes good again for Southampton.
Burnley come back from 2 goals down to draw away at Millwall. Some tough games looming.

Back to earth with a bump after last nights home defeat for Burnley at the hands of west ham.
It could have been so different had one of the chances created by our first half dominance gone in.
Unfortunately their keeper had a great game and then after a half time rollicking from allardyce, west ham came out a different team in the second half. That said, it took the introduction of downing, collision and Nolan and a dodgy penalty award, to get them on their way. This after we’d rattled their bar with a free kick.
Oh well, we can concentrate on the league now!

More invoices not paid and so there will be another phone call to chilly warranty shop this morning.
I’ll be telling that, regardless of the outcome, we won’t be undertaking any more work for them.

Martin, I don’t think any proper fan anywhere would agree that bottles, coins, smoke canisters and racial chants are acceptable.
Unfortunately, there is a very very small minority of moronic fans that seem to think that this antisocial behaviour is acceptable.
    Bears and lions?? Really?

    Haha, unfortunately it wasn’t me.
Apparently it was a bottle of coke. I wonder if it had Joey on it?
Couldn’t believe that my mate’s wife’s birthday bash coincided with our biggest game of the season so far.
We were able to watch sky sports via the sky go app in the hotel lounge, so better than nothing!

It does sound like you need an engineer to be honest. Have you used the engineer search facility on this site?

Fantastic win for the clarets, beating the previously undefeated QPR at home.
I couldn’t go as we were away, but managed to watch the game unfold via sky sports.
An excellent result and the table looks very healthy!
