ParticipantVT9 wont solve it.
You will want a stat that has a different cut in point.
At the moment i am having the same problems with whirlpoolbuilt in fridge doing exactly the same.
The answer with that is to fit a servis built in fridge stat these have a recalibrated thernostat in to stop them cutting out to early.
But as this is a new appliance beko will only pay for a beko gen part as it is in warrranty.
GDC who is the beko service provider will have to right it off and exchange the appliance. You might have the same probs with a replacement or you may not its a lottery.

Participantthe thermosat are dogy on them.
they seem to go out of calibration ie shut down to quick.
If I remeber right they are whirlpool engineered and they need the gen whirlpool part as the phial length is very short.

Participanti havnt but it shows how crap the unit is.
No back bone in my view once the chassis goes its twisted youll never get it back.
All they need is an adjustment on the hinge to allow the door to lift up enough for the magnetic strip- in the seal to hit metal not plastic liner.

Participantsounds like loss of gas or knackered compressor.

ParticipantThe dispaly is not real time temps.the only time you will see real time is when you interupt the power.
The display you tell are quite common with that version of model, but even with the modern days models it can tell you the same info there is only an alarm to tell you that the door is open.No alarm for appliance cooling failure.

ParticipantHad this problem before on a bosch it ended up as a mag valve failure.
I dont know if this model has a mag valve on it?

Participantthey wont pay as it is not effecting the oven ie electrical/mechanical breakdown.
i had a call for d&g on a fridge freezer which wants a new door as the lining had broken were the shelves attach told by them that they will not auth any repair as the door is a non functional part ie not covered as it is not mechanical or electrical its a cosmetic part.
the same i fear the same that they will tell you but give it a go as all insurance are quite happy to take your money and not payout for any silly reason.

Participantthe green light is a neon for display power on does do nothing apart ffrom glow green and waste electricity.
It will form ice at the back without it it wont work.
I would turn the thermostat to midway and forget all about it.
As long as it cools the fridge dont worryexpertcat
