ParticipantRe: ZANUSSI ZJD1219 DRAIN PROBLEMS
I was told it was for a start intermitant dying. Machine would just go dead. When I went there it started display all came on then it went dead. Changed main pcb still dead. Changed front pcb and light came on. Changed module back dead again. Refitted new module working. So had both pcbs fitted. Then he complained fault code would come up which was the cold water valve on drying cycle. Indeed valve was brown instead of White replaced that. But now the clothes get soaking wet instead of drying the clothes. Sat there and watched within 10 mins of drying operating water appears in bottom of inner drum and no drain pump running.
It’s one of those possessed machines

The problem is that JTM have brought in franchise operation and basically blown out my area and 2 other agents area. When you think that these areas are rural and because the agent can’t make a living on his original area he has taken over 63 rural postcodes. So for 1 guy making a living has destroyed 3 companies work that we have built up over the years with JTM.
Sour grapes yes but just think if this happens everywhere and may effect your companies profitability. Especially when you have wp going bust on you owing thousands of pounds.

ParticipantRe: 0800 Repair
Well I’ve just come from a job where a 0800 engineer and not a independent company working on behalf of JTM. Where he has regassed a r600a Baumatic fridge not checked to see why there was no refrigerant in the system. Jensen to say he didn’t notice the crack in the wet wall where the refrigerant was leaking out into a confined fridge space a spark with the thermostat has blown the door off and twisted and buckled chassis. Customer Recons she is calling in h&s exec. As she works for local trading standard dept. Can’t wait to see the shit fly.

ParticipantRe: Diplomat APM6855/1 E- Fault code
The fault code E- is either the defrost sensor or the air sensor in freezer…one is E- and the other is -E..H is just telling you the fridge temp is over 10 degrees

ParticipantRe: JTM again!
Went on a 1 day course for jtm 287 and the service manager says his engineers use cable ties to hold the pipes on the pump motors…
But then his engineers hold every type of otk clips on there van as they cosy pennies not according to jtm who charge the earth for them.

ParticipantRe: JTM again!
I had an email come through the other week by another agent of which postcodes 0800 was operating in. Its funny the postcodes he has picked which gives me a rough area of his base dosnt really effect me as such as i still do the the cooling work but I am starting to do his recalls which dose upset me abit. Atleast they ar paying for it but the area was also done by another agent has either bought the franchise himself or hes suddenly finding work is not there from JTM..The only problem is that after they have shafted everybody and these franchise operators fail they will be after us again. I know this particalr area dose not generate alot of calls been there in the expert days so I dont know how hes making ends meets.

ParticipantRe: bennetts electrical
As ths comapnies get bigger they may gain more shops but not delivery guys not engineers who now have to cover the areas with more sales engineers also doing the same yes they may be in the area but service managers dont take that into account.
Try looking at the big boys more shops dont mean more more background staff but stretch the staff further too appoint where they have to look at staffing issues due to time because of sickness/illness..
Also things like customer service goes belly up.expertcat
ParticipantRe: bennetts electrical
Problem with Hughes is there getting bigger and bigger.
I used to work for a company that went bust 2 years ago and i know for a fact they offered to buy the company years before but didnt want the shops only the service centre which also acted as a warehouse for the 4 shops this other company ran.
When they went bust all they wanted was the warehouse facilty and of course the rental customers base. The shops and staff even at the warehouse/service centre was all laid off.
