I agree with Jessica. Myself most of my work comes from work providers. All I can do is spread my own company on these calls. May never get any work but what the hell. In this climate beggars can’t be choosers. The main reason if you don’t someone well will and as they say you have no friends in business.

It seems I am not the only one to get a phone call from him….

Done a few jobs only must admit all the calls that I have received say inspection only.

Would be interested with working direct for the better rates.

Invoices have gone in awaiting to see if they get paid mind you.

Dont get that many calls but have been doubled booked on a job did sed them an invoice for diesel costs.

Re: Servis UK (Antonio Merloni) Bust!?

its too common for my liking..

For instance I have an invoice for a part on a pabl wine cooler dated july parts are on order but you dont know about the invoice till end of month chq comes and you query an invoice that you have no paperwork for..then you discover the truth….

And i am still fighting for credit note to cancel it till it if it ever arrives if not its gets fogotten in my realm and you paid for a part that months down the road job closed down due to non parts available.

Re: Servis UK (Antonio Merloni) Bust!?

I have no issues with contra but if your querying an invoice like JTM send out invoices without parts that are on back order unless your constantly on the phone chasing up they dont like credit notes.

I wouild rather settle at end of month like i do with repaircare atleast yuou know the figure due back to you.

GBDAR system used sage and i think you needed a degree in accountancey sometimes to decipher it.

    Re: invoice generating software.

Been using quickbooks for the last 5 years..started with 2001 then 2004 now using 2006 windows 7 isnt that keen to run it for some unknown reason but then visat was the same and both of thewse are supposed to be compatable with vista and 7…my accountant gave me a license to use 2008 bit to complicated for me but 2006 regular edition does all i need from invoice quotes stock control and vat…plus dont take my paperwork to accountant just flash memory

    Hope this helps
