note to self please get these tools ..

other note – dont try forcing spring with longnose pliers pointing back at face ..

ouch – few years back tried this just when i got the hoop of the spring on the hook point putting all my mite into it the pliers slipped and i punched myself in the face with the long nose pliers the point went through my top lip i though i had broke my teeth .. luckily enough they were ok .

blood everywhere not kitchen roll etc ..

best part i knew this might of happened but still done it anyway ..

all good fun – fond memories ..

Re: Taking the wee wee customers

yeh martins got the bailiffs on speed dial , have your door kicked in for £5

its always a hard thing to get right when your in business , yes you could could be a right hard case and not let anyone off with anything , but is that how you want to live ?.

i suppose the decisions before doing jobs is in the office , explain your fees and advise is payment on completion . maybe you should have followed your instincts on this one re previous payments.

if you get a name for being to soft you will quickly find yourself running around making nothing whilst your customers will have food on the table – but what about you .?

weve all done charity cases etc but dont do to many as you will start to think they are the norm .

ps message martin for help with collecting you gold ..

Re: CURRYS REPAIR SERVICE – 7 DAYS A WEEK

yeh i seen it 1st hand with comet

various so called engineers all on different pay structures , some of the most senior and experienced on 4k less than newby with no skills , and i mean no skills – no customer skills , no appliance skills , taken on from different industry etc . think comet were getting a grant from the someone at the time .

anyone with a bit of savy was basically sent out to all the f- ups and spent most of there day dealing with abusive or confused customers .

ahh they were the days – life was so much simpler ..

    on another note

Re: customers with no common sense !!

its was quite interesting to see that programme about the bailiffs , we dont have them in scotland , got sheriff officers etc

did you see the one where it shows you you dont have to let bailiffs in your property , but if the door is not locked they can walk in peacefully and start listing your stuff for sale.

so if the bailiffs are chasing you lesson lock your door ..

also check the if its the official paper work correctly signed and dated

this guy seems to know his way around the legal system

Re: A £1700 Samsung washing machine

for the money customers will expect the connection to be on ,

little johnny wifi will want to check if the washing has been done , no doubt several times in front of anyone who wants to see his tech.
