    Re: electrical safety testing ?

voltage stick is the first line of defense , obviously you will get it to light if you put it near the facia etc – but it shouldn’t light up if you touch inside drum side panel etc ..used with common sense it will alert you to any possible dangers ..

brit gas plumbers use them or are supposed to , i think one of their plumbers got killed up in a loft when he touched live copper pipe.

in the case of the plumbers employer he will need to justify himself in front of a jury …. but in his defense should the plumber have had basic electrical skill – another can of worms i think …

Re: help- support for my brother-inlaw

cheers bob appreciated please share on facebook etc

we may need to start an appeal for him re funding but will keep everyone updated ..

he is also paralyzed from shoulder blades down so no use of legs, double incontinent etc.

to get him specialized brain rehab is only going to be a small blessing and some hope of a normal existence.

they have basically stuck him in a ward full of old people and nurses who dont have the training to rehab him .. but his consultant wont request transfer/funding as he thinks hes ok where he is ..

came to head this week when a rehab unit my sister been getting help advice from wrote to his consultant requesting a transfer – hes now spat the dummy out ..

so were now trying all the angles we can to get him moved ..

my sister daughter has wrote to pm .. will wait and see

    cheers ally

    Re: Samsung FF RS21

the rs21 model doesnt have a new bottle as far as i know ?

its only the newer rsh1 that has the new bottle with push fit

with the older rs21 you need to run hose to front and to rear valve …. or if you can get connectors you can join in fridge

samsung dont do the connectors but daewoo have DAE3013064200 bit pricey at £5 each connect ,..

    Re: Another joke.

A senior citizen got his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he floored it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left. “Amazing,” he thought as he flew down I-75, pushing the pedal even more. Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw the highway patrol behind him, blue lights flashing and siren blaring.

He floored it to 100mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought,
“What am I doing? I’m too old for this,” and pulled over to await the Trooper’s arrival.

Pulling in behind him, the Trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch and said:

“Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I’ve never heard before, I’ll let you go.”

The old gentleman paused. Then said:

“Years ago, my wife ran off with a Florida State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.”

“Have a good day, Sir,” replied the Trooper and walked away.

    more on fuel costs …http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-21635261

Households have cut back on vehicle fuel over the past decade, but not on household gas, according to an analysis by the Office for National Statistics.

no shirt sherlock …. what about the household who have to drive for living …
