apart from alerting users on errors, i really dont see any need for wifi , just another sales gimmick the manufacturers are using to polish the proverbial t__d

if customers haven’t already realized they purchased a pile of poo — they now will be reminded via the app , just another conversation topic when dinning out im sure their friends will love it

    – im guessing there will be some good to come out if wifi appliances — like a robot bringing me beer etc but until such times , im not buying it

    Re: British Gas 0800

i used to work in the ESD division – i could see the writting on the wall when they replaced the existing service manager who was originaly brought in to build up the ESD in scotland

they replaced him with a manager from the gas side who had no clue about running whitegood repairs – turns out the gas side wanted rid of him and thought it would be a good idea to dump him on ESD — need less to say the wheels came of rather quick

lots of decent skilled engineers caught in the battle between the new clueless service manager trying to impliment gas rules and eletrical division

lots of good engineers working under diffacult situations – lots of medicore engineers clinging on to there jobs – lots of engineers past there sell by date clinging on for there pensions

lots of customers canceling the there policys as they cant afford to have them or find out its useless as they dont have iether parts or technical to repair the issue

sound like a good deal for 0800 – but then again so was the the 0800 franchise repair business

not sure how any existing customer will feel about being transfered to another company

BUT HEY ” THERES A HERO FOR THAT “
