    Re: Bosch d/w SGI43E02GB/08

    Hi
This model does have a flow meter/impellor jug fitted.
    If required p/no 424099.
I would also look at the transfer ribbed hose (the usual suspect) aswell

Not anymore, they will not give any tech info out now.

Re: Bosch American Fridge Freezer problem – help & advic

    Hi
Its got to be worth £65 to assess as it was an expensive bit of kit when new.
We also have engineers which are equally qualified to work on such appliances, please use the link for an engineer below.
The job in question would take a suitably qualified engineer approx 1 hour or less to repair; just to give you a ball park idea.

Re: Bosch American Fridge Freezer problem – help & advic

    Hi
These were made by Maytag and damn good side by side IMHO 😉
To fix this one you would ideally need to change –

    172834 Fountain kit
    172830 Sleeve
    172833 Microswitch
    480378 PCB
266803 Housing (If solenoid has overheated and distorted it)

All available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk I would get prices first and then get a stiff drink 😯 😀

Unplug appliance if you are to attempt yourself :plug:

    Re: Bosch SGS43A18GB/17 poor drying

    You could try this Simon…….

Hold down the S2 button and switch on the appliance. “0” is indicated on the digital display. If the Normal button is pressed again, “1” is displayed and intensive drying is switched on. If the appliance is switched off, the value is saved. If intensive drying is activated, the temperature is increased by 3 K in the final rinse.

S2 is the third button along, counting one below 7 seg as the 1st button.

    Greg 😉
