Hi
Just to eliminate, dont take it personally.
Have you made sure that the hot and cold water pipes are not reversed, as this will kill any drying operation of your machine.Greg

Hi
A known culprit is the “donut” seal which seals the top half of the cover around the fan at the front.
Im afraid its a drum out, but not too bad of a job.Greg

Post un-locked, apology sent. Sometimes you just have to go in. Im not going to be a wallflower moderator that would be pointless. We are not here to be liked mods have to do what they think right at the time. 😕
In future I will get all info.Greg

Machine faults or power goes off, you have to wait for the cooldown; but end or reset a cycle and the solenoid overrrides the heater and unlocks immediately.
Makes a nice satisfying click too…Yea they have started doing that aswell 🙂
Miele does have a much nicer clunk though 😆Greg

Hi
It has been said its down to cost.
If you want a machine that unlocks as soon as drum has stopped turning, then you will be looking at some of the top end Miele range where cost isnt an issue 😀Greg

Hi
I would stake money on crud/debris in the drain filter manifold.
You can with the filter removed IIRC rod with tyraps left and right between gaps of inner of manifold. Rod all the way until you see it re appear. Hard to explain but I had similar fault years ago, was a bugger. 😀Greg

Hi
With the appliance un plugged, pull it out onto something suitable eg workmate; you can then remove lamp cover which is on the top at the front. 2 torx screws, lid off and voila, one bulb.
Please note that this is as far as you need to dismantle this oven as there are high voltages within that will kill even when disconnected.Greg
