Hi
Belt removal
Take of the opening cover on the base plate.
Remove the belt from the belt tension adjuster.
Take off work top panel, facia panel, front panel and bearing. (see dismantling bearing plate.)
Belt Tension adjuster
Put the appliance on its back.
Open the opening ion the base plate.
Take off the belt.
Remove the two screws of the belt tension adjuster at the base plate and take off belt tension adjusters over the opening in the base plate
Belt mounting
To put new one on you need to draw up the belt over the drum
Hang up and bolt bearing plate and then stretch the belt with the belt tension adjuster (if you have one 😉 )
Close the opening on the base and re assmble fascia etc.HTH

I would be looking for a dry joint on the relay feeding the heater 😉

Hi
Been to a Neff equivalent today funny enough 😀
Glad you have an engineer booked and hopefully soon on the road to ice dispensing. 😉
It does sound like the solenoid drive for the ice shute may have died and/or module that feeds it.
Keep us posted anyway as it makes a good read for us 8)Greg

Hi
If filter and condenser are clear and there is good air flow ie fan running correctly; you would be looking at an overheating fault for whatever reason, faulty NTC R2 (above heater box) or faulty NTC 4 ( in the airstream above condenser unit)
Worth checking cables to these NTC’s back to PCB aswell.Greg

Hi
When you say the icemaker works fine, do you mean it makes ice or it makes the usual motor auga sound but flap stays shut when you call for ice ?
The Test button is mainly for engineers to force the ice maker unit to simulate a cycle thus being able to tell its faulty or not, easily.HTH

Probably in need of the modified backplate and sensor.
Maybe also a split water reservoir (if fitted) due to above problem.Greg

ParticipantRe: Neff HTET715
Part is current 476984, the price you quoted washman, is inc of VAT as tradeplace shows it as £110.13+VAT which equates as your price. P&P is usually extra 😀
