Hi Jim
That bung is one unit. The centre has just disintegrated. Remove left over bung and new one can be fitted from inside of cavity 😀Greg

Hi
If you take the sides off, you will be able to gain access. The usual part that breaks is the break (sort of half moon shape) which the brake band goes round.P/No – 481240448746 and email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will sort if you should require.

Hi
Im quite sure you are well able to complete the repair, however, we are unable to give a full blown repair procedure as the next person reading this thread may well not have the same ability or competence.
If you are a “qualified mechanical engineer” the job in hand should be apparent and a breeze.Unplug appliance if investigating further :plug:

He has a thing; if you look at his previous posts, about fire and electrical hazards, sounds like an ambulance chaser :rolls:

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel Dishwasher door questions
Hi
The door should open with moderate resistence to a complete 90 degree horizontal position; if it won’t there is a problem and needs some attention.Greg

ParticipantRe: Ariston wd 12s Washer dryer pumping in water when drying
Hi
Another poor installation, the drain and vent hoses on respective appliances are that length for a reason. You will either have to move machine nearer to sink trap or hole through the wall (best option but expensive)Greg
