I agree, you have so much more to offer, ignore the prats and move on.
Your input is valued on here, so please re-consider.

    Hi Goose
Miele prices of late have, shall I say reduced to a nearly pallatable level 😉
You may need to post the seriel number as that seems pertinent in gaining the correct spares for most Mieles 😀

It will be either around the door inner or on the rear of the appliance 😉

Re: Bosch Hydrosensor Dishwasher not taking salt

    Hi
If required the regeneration valve (should read 2-3K ohms, unplug appliance when attempting this) is p/no 166875 and is available by emailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk 😉
Another thought is that for some unknown reason, the hardness setting (adjusted electronically IIRC) may have turned itself off or onto a very low setting.
You will have to refer to your manual, it will entail holding a button in whilst powering up IIRC 😉

The usual crud build up in the ribbed transfer tube, metering unit and if unlucky, the water matrix.

    Hi Paul
Sounds like a sealing problem after reading what you wrote.

    Hi
    Unplug appliance first :plug:
IIRC, Lid off then remove soap drawer and then retaining screws around its mouth.
The fascia should with care just pop off by teasing retainers from the inside.
Its relatively common for the plastic shaft of the knob to snap as its a no contest ie plastic shaft turning a fairly stiff metal timer shaft :rolls:
Please pop the full model number up so we can identify correct part/s for you 😀

Re: Bosch Hydrosensor Dishwasher not taking salt

Model number off door inner would really help but I would surmise a regenertion valve fault.
You will of course need to contact your water supplier for their hardness readings so that you can adjust accordingly (Unless you are using those 3 or 4 in 1 tabs. You may need additional salt in cases of extreme hardness areas)

    Hi
Even when the times are shown they will deviate, the turbidity sensor will determine that and also during the pre rinse, wash and drying rinse cycles.
So as Mr P said, its pretty much down to external factors and internally how dirty the wash water is.

    Hi
I would say 99.9{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} it will be a blockage in the water jet holes in the lid of the detergent unit. A toothbrush can be effective for de-clogging sometimes but usually a replacement of the roof of the detergent compartment is the 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} cure 😀
Poor water pressure to the appliance is another factor also.
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will sort you the spare if required.
