First of all, unplug it! :zap:
When you take the top off, there are 4 8mm screws going from the top of the machine down into the rear half of the cabinet. IIRC they are just behind where the suspension springs come up.
There will be 1 8mm screw on the back of the M/C towards the top that screws through the cabinet into the dryer unit.
Look at the back of the M/C, towards the bottom for 2 or 3 more 8mm screws, and look at the sides of the M/C towards the bottom for the white caps.
Where the flex enters the machine there’s a semi circle plastic bit that unclips. Now the back half of the cabinet should pull away.

I love being quarantined 😀 No family or friends popping in to see me unannouced 😈 Gives me plenty of time to play COD.

I’d be great in a rugby scrum ATM! They would all be itching me 😀

I’m not so bad. The big painful ones are on the back of me head 😯
Besides that, it’s neck, chin, chest and back.
If it gets spectacular, I’ll upload some photos 8)

It’s a pretty awkward job to get the condensor out. IMHO if you can’t do it from Helo’s instructions, then it’s time to ring for help?

That’s the strange bit; I feel fine. Doctor said I should be in alot more pain than I am 😯
It is a fact that gingers have a high pain threshold 🙂

ParticipantRe: Your most used tool?
After snapping many a neon, I asked for a ‘good quality’ neon at the tool-shop. The guy working there told me…
You can’t get a good un, coz der illegal init!
Probably something to do with live testing? :hmm:

ParticipantRe: Your most used tool?
If the neon screw-driver is there in your hand, why get up or lean over to the tool box for the correct tool? ie, flat screw-driver, possi driver, or some torx screws. And if it snaps, dim-dums!
Either that or I just tend to lose them real easy. I don’t go through that many, maybe 1 a week?
It’s always in my hand tho, because I see the neon as a dissposable tool, so it gets all the crap jobs. Poking things, poking crud out of things, anything you wouldn’t use your fingers or a decent tool for 😉

Is stuck on that program and you can’t select another? Is the machine doing anything? Any noises?

The tool I use on every job is probably me torch 8)
I’d agree that the (illegal) neon screw-driver is the most useful. I order them 10 at a time tho…
“Should I get up off me knees and get me proper flat screw-driver, or just try prising this with this neon?”
SNAP!!! 😆
