There is no ‘easy’ way! This is the problem with DIY rather than paying the local expert to do the job.
I can’t give you a ‘blow by blow’ account for safety reasons, so I’ll just say… unplug the machine before you do anything, and then take the top panel and both sides off.
If it doesn’t become obvious from there, call in an expert.

ParticipantRe: Questions
I tryed that once with the Bosch. One of the model, I can’t remember which, had the same door as the Siemens.
I’d collected alot of Siemens chrome doors (that looked fantastic) and everytime I sold a Bosch, I offered the customer a chrome door for a tenner extra.
I gave up after a while because everyone said no! Did I over-price it?

Martin wrote:No! No! tipping the machine on it’s back is not the way to do it. :lesson:
I meant access is from underneath. I tip the machine slightly forward or backwards, depending on the kitchen, length of pipes etc.
Of course, I’m only little so I can crawl under the washer pretty easy. 😉

Ahhh, plastic tub!
It aint so bad. We just tip the machine back a little for access, but don’t tip it all the way onto it’s back.
There a whole thread on Bosch brushes somewhere.

ParticipantRe: Mystery tool
I saw the Herloni engineer this morning, and he says that is what it is for!
He also says that the tool buckles the base of the dryer, therefore you can tell how many belt the dryer has had, by the amount of buckles in the base. 😉

ParticipantRe: Mystery tool
Well, that’s the tool a Herloni engineer gave me. :con:

ParticipantRe: Mystery tool
Nope! That was my first guess too.
First clue: It’s not home-made. It’s a tool given to Herloni engineers.
