£23.50 minimum.
Some people won’t ever pay over a fiver for a vac repair. I just say :wave:
They get a 12 month guarantee for their £23.50, and BOY, do they use it! 😕

Is the dishwasher making this noise all the time, no matter where the program is set?
If so, it has gone into fault mode, but just resetting the m/c won’t help.
That stuff in the bottom of the m/c needs rinsing through, but if the machine is in fault mode, it won’t fill, to prevent the machine from flooding your kitchen. 🙁
It might be time for the professionals, click here for an engineer…Repairs@
…and if your attemping a repair yourself, please unplug the m/c first. :plug:

This guy didn’t mind having a quick repair…
But, it sounds like he saw the engineer earn his crust from close range.
It also sounds like no drum spider was used 😕
I can remember the last time the bearings were gone, but the spider was ok.

I tryed earlier, and they said they were doing a stock-take or sommat, and they would phone me back. They didn’t phone back 🙁

Of course, the easy way of avoiding problems, is to agree a price before any work is done.

£40 + VAT!?!?!?!? I wish we could. There’s too much competition around here to charge that much 🙁 We can charge that much for dishwashers, but generally, you’ve earned it on a dishwasher.
If a customer doesn’t want to pay for your expertise, I’d poke them in the eye, and tell them to get their Indsh#t/Servis fixed somewhere else. Maybe kick the door off the machine before I left.
What are they paying for then?
Well, if I wasn’t in an eye-poking mode I’d say they are paying for…
Labour, petrol (unless you charge seperate for that), expertise, tools, a 12-month guarantee, shop over-heads, and also mention that Gordon Brown is a complete ****-monkey.
