They will be 1mm long instead of 2inch long.

Or if one of the brushes is dull.

The problem is, some of those Zanussi’s have phillips screws to hold in the brushes, and some have 5.5mm nuts. You may need professional help. It’s not easy at all! 😯

Make sure the appliance is isolated from the mains, and make sure it won’t drop on your head!

Ok, maybe once I when to a repair and found my old cobbing pliers in the bottom of a washer. 😳

…and maybe sometimes I fix people’s vacuums and give them it back without the tools.

    But nobody is perfect, right?

My brother-in-law knows a TV engineer, that got such a rancid brew in a house somewhere, that he put it in the TV, and put the back panal back on.

You’d think that as soon as the good people of that house moved the TV, it would fall over a wreck the tele, right? Well, apparently, he went back years later, and it was still there, in the unmoved TV.

…and he left it there again!

BTW, sorry, but I’m too young and sharp to make mistakes. 😉

I’ve got a scrap of paper, next to the phone, with that scribbled on it.

    I’m ready! 😀

Or I think Penguin said something about sex and travel.

    Oh yeah!

I remember installing a Bosch WFO2466 in a mobile home.

We had to remove the top panel, the door (including hinge) and the control knob. 😆

I think the door was only 19′ wide.

And Iadom, £30 for a washboard!!!!! Tell ’em to get a big stick and an old tin bath.

Am I right in thinking that those big, American style, Whirlpool, top-loaders have no heater? They’re in-efficiant with the water, but the electric consumtion should be low.

Besides that, tell them to get down to the river, and find a nice rock to slap their clothes against.

What about the Servis/Indesit owners that come in with a undamaged belt?

‘Everytime I put the belt back on it throws it off again. It must have streched!’

Do you sell them a new belt even though the shaft is broken, and a new belt won’t make any difference?

I think each indivisual case must be judged accordingly.

I thought the old git yesterday would have an easier time refitting the more supple old seal. And when he realises what a favour I did him, he’ll give me more business. Or maybe he just when to another shop and bought a seal. 😕

    Re: Essential stockholding for shopkeepers

I’ve just had a lovely, elderly gentleman in the shop.

He was holding in his hand a Zanussi W/D door seal with a spout. ‘How much is one of these, and is it hard to fit?’

I said ‘It’s a pretty complicated job actually.’

It turns out, he’s house-sitting for his son who is on holiday, and he’s decided to change the door seal because it’s a little dirty. 😕 There’s absolutly nothing wrong with the seal. Poor Git!!! I told him to go and try putting the old one back on, and gave him some instructions.

I think Zanussi should have put a warning sticker near the door on those machines….

‘DON’T CHANGE THE DOOR SEAL BECAUSE IT’S A LITTLE DIRTY. IT’S A B#####D TO FIT!’

I wonder if he’ll be back soon.

    Don’t have a dishwasher then! 😉

It will work. Both of the appliances intergrated????

The only way I can picture it working, is if the fridge is on the top, and theres a thick work surface between the two appliances, that has alot of support.

If you do this, just remember, one day the appliances might break, and some will have to get them out again.

Try cleaning the inside top bit of the soap box with a bottle-brush.

Is your conditionor thick stuff? Some are too thick and set before the final rinse. Try diluting it with some water.
